    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A base station may transmit downlink control information to a user equipment (UE). The downlink control information may identify a grantless uplink group associated with one or more grantless uplink subframes for the UE. The UE may transmit uplink control information for the one or more grantless uplink subframes associated with the indicated uplink group of the UE. The UE may then transmit grantless uplink data during at least one of the one or more grantless uplink subframes based at least in part on the grantless uplink group associated for the UE and the uplink control information.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a receiver may receive, from two or more transmitters, two or more sidelink control informations (SCIs) that schedule channel occupancy time (COT) resources for the two or more transmitters. The receiver may transmit, to a transmitter of the two or more transmitters, an acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (A/N) feedback via a mini-slot carrying a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) or sidelink feedback information (SLFI) with SCI. The A/N feedback may be transmitted before a listen-before-talk (LBT) and physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission. The receiver may receive, from the transmitter using a COT resource, the PSSCH transmission based at least in part on the A/N feedback. The LBT and the PSSCH transmission may be adjustable at the transmitter based at least in part on the A/N feedback. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for sidelink channel access via a floating channel occupancy. In some aspects, a cellular device may operate within a proximity of one or more wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) devices and may conditionally support a search space associated with a floating sidelink synchronization signal block (SSB). For example, if the cellular device detects that the Wi-Fi devices are precluding the cellular device from acquiring channel access or otherwise making it relatively more difficult for the cellular device to acquire channel access, the cellular device may enable or active a use of the search space associated with the floating sidelink SSB. If enabled or activated, the cellular device may transmit a floating sidelink SSB within the search space independent of slot boundaries upon a successful listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support relaxed sensing for new radio (NR) sidelink over millimeter wave (mmW) operating frequencies. In a first aspect, a method by a user equipment (UE) of wireless communication includes identifying a resource selection trigger that indicates selection of one or more sidelink slots from a resource selection window. The UE may obtain long-term interference sensing statistics observed by the UE prior to the resource selection trigger. The UE can reduce a default sensing window length in accordance with the long-term interference sensing statistics and transmit a sidelink transmission in the selected sidelink slots. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: In the context of a slot of a sidelink (SL) communication frame of a user equipment (UE), the slot is configured with a resource element allocation comprising an SL synchronization signal block (S-SSB) occupying a plurality of less than all symbols of the slot, and a plurality of less than all subcarriers of a channel of the slot. The UE determines that an occupied channel bandwidth (OCB) constraint for the slot across the channel will not be met with the resource element allocation. The UE then multiplexes, in response to the determining, a reference signal (RS) across the symbols occupied by the S-SSB in a plurality of resource blocks of the channel not occupied by the S-SSB to meet the OCB constraint. The UE then transmits the slot with the S-SSB and the multiplexed RS.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a configuration for performing a sidelink discontinuous reception procedure, where the configuration indicates a duration of a timer associated with an active duration for the first UE to receive sidelink retransmissions during the sidelink discontinuous reception procedure. The UE may then receive a first sidelink communication including data and may, in some cases, transmit feedback requesting a retransmission of the data. The UE may then receive second sidelink communication including the retransmitted data. Prior to receiving the second sidelink communication including the retransmitted data, the UE may initiate the timer according to the configuration. Thus, the UE may be in an active mode to receive the second sidelink communication.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support configured reception with sidelink control information (SCI) repetition over a sidelink. In aspects, a receiving user equipment (UE) may be configured to conduct combined reception/decoding of SCI repetitions (received from a transmitting UE over a sidelink) over multiple time-frequency slots at pre-defined occasions (e.g., occasions configured by a base station) to decode a sidelink transmission. In aspects, a receiving UE may receive from a transmitting UE over a sidelink, a sidelink transmission during a reception occasion that includes a plurality of reception opportunities for the receiving UE. Each reception opportunity of the plurality of reception opportunities includes a repetition of an SCI. The receiving UE decodes the SCI by combining the repetitions of the SCI received in one or more reception opportunities, and decodes a data transmission (e.g., a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission) using the decoded SCI.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a transmitter user equipment (UE). The method may include receiving (e.g., from a network entity) a configuration of a first resource pool associated with a second resource pool. The first resource pool includes physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resources for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) responses for physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmissions in the second resource pool. The method further includes transmitting (e.g., to a receiver UE) a PSSCH on a resource in the second resource pool and a request for a HARQ response for the PSSCH from a PSFCH resource in the first resource pool. The method further includes receiving (e.g., from the receiver UE) the HARQ response over the PSFCH resource (e.g., in response to the PSSCH).
