Abstract: A method and apparatus of a device that converts an account associated with an application to use a single sign-on service is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the device receives an indication of a weak password associated with the account. The device further sends a request to verify an account credential for a user associated with the device. In addition, the device receives the verification of the account credential. The device additionally requests a single sign-on credential for the account and receives the single sign-on credential. Furthermore, the device sends a message to a server associated with a service for the application that the application is registered for the single sign-on service.

Abstract: An electronic device displays a home screen user interface that includes a plurality of application icons for different applications. While displaying the home screen user interface, the electronic device detects availability of a wireless peripheral for pairing with the electronic device, and in response to detecting the availability of the wireless peripheral for pairing with the electronic device, displays, overlaid on the home screen user interface, a connection user interface that includes information identifying the wireless peripheral. While displaying the connection user interface overlaid on the home screen user interface, the electronic device detects a single input directed to the connection user interface, and in response to detecting the single input, initiates pairing of the wireless peripheral with the electronic device.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for transmitting a message to a user device in accordance with a determination that another device is unreachable over a network. In one example, a server device, at a first location, may identify a controller device resident at a second location, whereby the controller device is configured to communicate with a router at the second location. The server device may also receive a list of user devices. The server device may transmit a ping message to the controller device via the router to determine whether the controller device is unreachable by the server device. The server device may subsequently transmit a message to a user device on the list in accordance with a determination that the controller device is unreachable by the server device, whereby the message includes instructions for the user device to determine whether the controller device is unreachable by the user device.

Abstract: Systems and processes for operating an intercom system via a digital assistant are provided. The intercom system is trigger-free, in that users communicate, in real-time, via devices without employing a trigger to speak. Acoustic fingerprints are employed to associate users with devices. Acoustic fingerprints include vector embeddings of speech input in an acoustic-feature vector space. Speech heard at multiple devices, as embedded in a fingerprint, may be clustered in the vector space, and the structure of the clusters is employed to associate users and devices. Based on the fingerprints, a device is mapped to a user, and the user employs that device to participate in a conversation, via the intercom service.

Abstract: An electronic device with a display and a fingerprint sensor displays a fingerprint enrollment interface and detects, on the fingerprint sensor, a plurality of finger gestures performed with a finger. The device collects fingerprint information from the plurality of finger gestures performed with the finger. After collecting the fingerprint information, the device determines whether the collected fingerprint information is sufficient to enroll a fingerprint of the finger. When the collected fingerprint information for the finger is sufficient to enroll the fingerprint of the finger, the device enrolls the fingerprint of the finger with the device. When the collected fingerprint information for the finger is not sufficient to enroll the fingerprint of the finger, the device displays a message in the fingerprint enrollment interface prompting a user to perform one or more additional finger gestures on the fingerprint sensor with the finger.

Abstract: In some implementations, a user device can predictively route media content to a remote playback device based on playback context information obtained by the user device. The playback context can include local playback context information related to the state and/or context of the user device. The playback context can include remote playback context information related to the state and/or context of available remote playback devices. Based on the playback context information obtained by the user device, the user device can generate a predictive score for each available playback device that indicates or predicts the likelihood that the user will want to send media content to the corresponding playback device. The user device can generate and present a graphical user interface that can identify the playback devices having predictive scores over a threshold score. In some instances, the user device can automatically route selected media content to a predicted playback device.

Abstract: A first electronic device is wireless connected to an audio output device that is also concurrently wirelessly connected with a second electronic device that is different from the first electronic device and playing first audio corresponding to first audio data transmitted by the second electronic device to the audio output device. The first electronic device, in response to detecting a user request to play a second audio that is associated with a media item, transmits to the audio output device second audio data corresponding to the second audio. In accordance with the second audio data being transmitted to the audio output device, the audio output device ceases playing the first audio and begins playing the second audio.
