    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus is configured transmit, to a set of stations, a trigger frame that indicates a set of RUs for uplink and/or downlink transmission available to each station of the set of stations. The trigger frame may be a request for feedback on the set of RUs from each station. The apparatus may be configured to receive from each station a response frame over an uplink resource based on the transmitted trigger frame. The response frame may include the feedback on the set of RUs and may be received independent of a channel condition associated with the uplink resource. The feedback may be an ordered list of RUs based on the set of RUs.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication are disclosed. In some aspects, a method includes receiving from a transmitting device, via a receiving device, a first wireless frame, the first wireless frame forming at least a portion of a wireless communication exchange between the transmitting device and the receiving device, transmitting to the transmitting device, in response to the first wireless frame, a second wireless frame indicating that the receiving device will enable protection for a remaining portion of the wireless communication exchange, transmitting during a contention period, in response to the indication, a frame reserving the wireless medium for a time period; and receiving, via the receiving device, the remaining portion of the wireless communication exchange from the transmitting device during the time period.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for low overhead paging in a wireless communications network are described herein. In some aspects, an apparatus for wireless communication includes a receiver and a processor. The receiver receives a request from a first device. The request indicates a first period of a plurality of periods corresponding to a periodicity for transmitting paging messages. The processor assigns the first device to a group scheduled to receive paging messages at most every first period based on the request and determines a start time for transmitting paging messages to the first device based on schedules for transmitting paging messages to a plurality of other devices. In other aspects, an apparatus for wireless communication includes a processor and memory. The processor derives an information sub-unit from an information unit associated with a paging message, compresses the information sub-unit, and generates a second information unit associated with the method of compression.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for pre- and post-packet detection interference nulling. In some implementations, a method includes detecting at least a first part of an unscheduled Wi-Fi packet and performing a channel estimation. The method also may include estimating an interference on the Wi-Fi channel based on a known non-zero portion of the preamble of the Wi-Fi packet and nulling interference from the Wi-Fi channel during reception of at least a second part of the Wi-Fi packet. In some implementations, the method can determine an interference estimate based on at least one of a previously received packet or channel sampling for a Wi-Fi channel and computer a filter based at least in part on the interference estimate. The method also includes applying the filter to a received signal to null interference on the Wi-Fi channel at least before detection of a Wi-Fi packet.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to apparatus and methods for switching operating bandwidth and/or operating channel in a wireless communications network. A transmitting STA may send an announcement of a switch to a particular bandwidth in a frame, wherein the presence or absence of a Secondary Channel Offset Element and a Wide Bandwidth Channel Switch Element in the frame indicates whether the particular bandwidth belongs to a first or second set of operating bandwidths. The presence of the Secondary Channel Offset Element and a Wide Bandwidth Channel Switch Element in the frame may indicate a switch to the first set of operating bandwidths. The first set of operating bandwidths may include VHT channels including 80 MHz only, 80+80 MHz and 160 MHz channels. The absence of the Secondary Channel Offset Element and a Wide Bandwidth Channel Switch Element in the frame may indicate a switch to the second set of operating bandwidths. The second set of operating bandwidths may include 20 MHz and 40 MHz channels.
