Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink transmission via at least one of a primary cell, a secondary cell, or a combination thereof. The UE may identify a feedback indication for the downlink transmission. The UE may transmit a first feedback message that includes the feedback indication via the primary cell. The UE may transmit a second feedback message that also includes the feedback indication via the secondary cell.

Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communications includes a processor and a memory that includes instructions. The one or more processors are configured to execute the instructions to control reception, from a base station, of a first downlink signal using a first bandwidth amount that is based on a first frequency range associated with a particular signal transmitted by the base station. The one or more processors are further configured to execute the instructions to initiate transmission, to the base station, of a first uplink signal using a second bandwidth amount. The second bandwidth amount is less than the first bandwidth amount, and the second bandwidth amount is based on a second frequency range associated with an uplink channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a low latency mode indication that indicates one or more different retransmission timelines or repetition techniques relative to communications that are not associated with the low latency mode indication. The base station may provide the low latency mode indication in downlink control information (DCI) that may include a resource grant for uplink resources for an uplink communication, such as for a UE transmission of pose information of an extended reality (XR) application. The low latency mode indication may signal that no retransmissions of the uplink communication are to be transmitted, that a different retransmission timeline is enabled for low latency mode communications, that retransmissions may happen based on a particular timeline that is determined according to one or more timers, or any combinations thereof.

The UE may transmit a report based on an event associated with the sidelink that triggers the power headroom report. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may identify a carrier aggregation configuration for a set of communication links where at least one communication link of the set is a sidelink. The UE may determine an event associated with the sidelink that triggers a power headroom report, and transmit the power headroom report based on the determined event associated with the sidelink that triggers the power headroom report.

A user equipment (UE) that is configured with two sets of power control parameters may be signaled (e.g., via downlink control information (DCI)) as to which set of parameters to use for determining the transmission power on a sidelink channel. The UE may determine a transmit power for a sidelink message based on the indication included in the DCI. The base station may transmit the indication based on whether uplink or downlink communications are scheduled on resources that may overlap with resources used for transmission of the sidelink message.

In some systems, a user equipment (UE) or a base station, or both, may determine a configuration for partitioning a set of sequences into multiple sequence pools associated with multiple UEs. The UE or the base station, or both, may determine a sequence pool associated with the UE based on the configuration, which may include parameters or instructions for determining the sequence pool associated with the UE. The UE or the base station, or both, may select a subset of sequences from the sequence pool associated with the UE and construct a codebook including the subset of sequences. The UE may select a sequence from the constructed codebook based on a quantity of bits of a payload and may transmit the payload to the base station using the selected sequence.

A base station may dynamically cancel and reschedule configured transmission occasions for communicating with a user equipment (UE). The transmission occasions may be configured according to a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration (e.g., for downlink transmissions) or a configured grant (CG) configuration (e.g., for uplink transmissions). The base station may transmit a dynamic grant to the UE that indicates a cancellation of a transmission occasion and schedules a dynamic transmission occasion for communicating data scheduled for transmission at the canceled transmission occasion. In some examples, the cancellation in the grant may be explicit or implicit.

For instance, a UE or base station may identify a first portion of a payload associated with a first priority and a second portion of the payload associated with a second priority less than the first priority. The UE or base station may select a first matrix associated with a first domain for the first portion of the payload and a second matrix associated with a second domain for the second portion of the payload based on a first maximum index interval for the first matrix being larger than a second maximum index interval for the second matrix. The UE may transmit or the base station may receive the first portion of the payload using one or more sequences associated with the first matrix and the second portion of the payload using one or more sequences associated with the second matrix.
