Abstract: A first UE may establish a sidelink connection with at least one second UE via a first PCC. The first PCC and a first set of SCCs may be associated with a first transmission of the first UE. The sidelink connection with the at least one second UE may be associated with carrier aggregation. The first UE may detect, and transmit a first indication, that at least one of (i) the sidelink connection is associated with an RLF value that is within an RLF threshold of an RLF limit, or (ii) the first set of SCCs is capable of maintaining the sidelink connection. The first UE may receive, based on the first indication, a second indication of a switch of the sidelink connection from the first PCC to a first SCC of the first set of SCCs.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The UE receives a beam monitoring configuration indicating at least one condition to be satisfied for transmission of a beam condition report. The UE monitors at least one beam failure detection (BFD)-reference signal (RS) during an ON duration of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. The UE transmits the beam condition report, at an end of the ON duration of the DRX cycle, when the at least one condition is satisfied during the ON duration of the DRX cycle.

Abstract: A UE may receive a BFD-RS and calculate, based on the BFD-RS, one or more of a value of an RSSI or at least one of a value of an SNR or a value of an RSRP, such that the UE may report a BFI based on the calculated values. The UE may initiate at least one of a total BFI timer or a consecutive BFI timer when a first BFI of a plurality of BFIs is stored, and increment at least one of a total BFI counter or a consecutive BFI counter when each of the plurality of BFIs is stored. A BFD procedure may be performed if at least one of the total BFI counter is greater than or equal to a maximum total count or the consecutive BFI counter is greater than or equal to a maximum consecutive count prior to an expiration of respective BFI timers.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for enhanced signaling related to beam failure prediction. A user equipment (UE) predicts a beam failure condition prior to a number of beam failure instances within a time period reaching a configured threshold number of beam failures. The UE transmits an indicator of the predicted beam failure condition to a serving cell. The indicator may include a request for a change to a beam failure detection reference signal (BFD-RS) or to UE scheduling. The serving cell transmits a notification of a change to the BFD-RS or to UE scheduling in response to the indicator. The UE may continue to monitor for a beam failure condition based on the change or may adjust reception during a predicted duration of the beam failure based on the change.

In an example, a user equipment (UE) may determine the UE has entered a dormant state with respect to the SCG of a secondary node (SN) having a primary SCG cell (PSCell). The UE may monitor the PSCell to detect a beam failure or a radio link failure while the UE is in the dormant state with respect to the SCG. The UE may transmit, to the SN, a report based on the beam failure or the radio link failure on the PSCell being detected.
