Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for interference management with adaptive resource block (RB) allocation. In an exemplary method, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), an indication of a first set of resource blocks (RBs) to receive a first downlink (DL) transmission in a time interval, the UE receives, from the BS, an indication of a dynamically allocated second set of RBs to receive a second DL transmission from the BS in the time interval, and the UE alters one or more parameters of a receiver, based on the second set of RBs, when receiving the second DL transmission on the second set of RBs. Altering the one or more parameters may include switching a phase-locked loop (PLL) of the receiver to a center frequency determined based on the second set of RBs.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-program products for performing dynamic bandwidth switching between control signals and data signals of differing bandwidths are disclosed. A mobile device receives a control signal having a first bandwidth. The mobile device receives a data signal having a second bandwidth different from the first bandwidth. The control signal and the data signal are received over a single carrier frequency. The data signal is transmitted after the control signal such that the data signal and control signal are separated by a time interval. The time interval is based on a switching latency of the mobile device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a hybrid scheduling configuration that includes a dynamic scheduling indication, a preconfiguration including initial scheduling parameters, and a set of preconfigured occasions for communicating data with a base station. The UE may monitor for the dynamic scheduling indication based on the initial scheduling parameters and the set of the preconfigured occasions. For instance, the UE may monitor for the dynamic scheduling indication during periodic occasions, monitor for the dynamic scheduling indication using a different periodicity, or monitor based on a time interval (e.g., a slot) during which both the preconfigured occasion and the dynamic scheduling indication occur. In any case, the UE may communicate with the base station after receiving the dynamic scheduling indication, where data may be transmitted to, or received from, the base station in accordance with the hybrid scheduling configuration.

Abstract: Systems and methods configured to provide size matching of downlink control information (DCI) formats to restrict a number of DCI format sizes for a set of DCI formats for concurrent use are described. In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, size matching at least two DCI formats of a set of DCI formats to restrict a number of DCI format sizes for the set of DCI formats for concurrent use is implemented. Restrictions with respect to the number of DCI format sizes for the set of DCI formats may correspond both to a first number of DCI sizes parameter based on a total number of DCI format sizes per wireless communication slot, and to a second number of DCI sizes parameter based on a total number of DCI format sizes for DCI formats used to carry DCI payload encoded using an identifier per wireless communication slot.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses described herein provide a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate hopping function that reduces collisions between PDCCH candidates, particularly between PDCCH candidates associated with reduced capability user equipment (UE). For example, the hopping function may be implemented as part of a PDCCH candidate to control channel element (CCE) function or may be applied separately from the PDCCH candidate to CCE function. The hopping function may reduce persistent collisions between PDCCH candidates by correlating the mapping behavior with a value that changes over time. Some techniques and apparatuses described herein provide signaling for configuration and activation/deactivation/modification of the hopping pattern. Thus, collisions between PDCCH candidates are reduced, thereby conserving computing resources and wireless communication resources. Furthermore, the reduction of collisions may improve performance of UEs with reduced PDCCH capabilities, such as reduced-capability UEs. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may receive a first group downlink control information transmission associated with a UE group, where the first group downlink control information transmission may reference a second group downlink control information transmission (e.g., according to a pre-notification indication). The UE may determine a feedback condition for the second group downlink control information transmission and monitor for the second group downlink control information transmission. Alternatively, the UE may receive a second group downlink control information transmission referencing the first group downlink control information transmission (e.g., according to a post-confirmation indication), and the UE may determine a feedback condition for the first group downlink control information transmission. Based on the feedback condition, the UE may transmit feedback information, for example, indicating that the UE did not correctly receive the indicated group downlink control information transmission.

Abstract: A configuration to allow a base station to be synchronized with an application server to enable the base station to align uplink transmissions of a UE with downlink reception periods of the UE. The base station communicates with a UE using periodic uplink traffic bursts and periodic downlink traffic bursts. The base station selects a time offset to at least one of uplink traffic or downlink traffic to increase an overlap between the uplink traffic bursts and the downlink traffic bursts. The base station sends the time offset to an AF.
