In an example, the present disclosure includes receiving, at a second device, a Random Access Channel (RACH) preamble from a first device, the RACH preamble initiates an access procedure between the first device and the second device; selecting, by the second device, a transmission resource associated with a second RACH message based on the RACH preamble; and transmitting, by the second device, the second RACH message on the selected transmission resource to the first device.

A UE may determine a transmit power for transmitting a message during a RACH procedure with a secondary BS, based at least in part, on communication between the UE and a primary BS. The UE may transmit the message to the second BS during the RACH procedure based, at least in part, on the determined transmit power.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide for beam management in wireless communication systems. In some examples, beam angle information (e.g., angles of arrival/departure) may be utilized to select one or more serving downlink beams for communication between a scheduling entity and a scheduled entity. The beam angle information may further be utilized to facilitate additional operations within a backhaul network, such as wireless node locating, obstacle locating, system mapping within the network topology, beam determination and beam sweeping configuration, and mobility management among wireless nodes of a backhaul network. In other examples, aperiodic uplink beam measurements may be triggered based on downlink beam measurement reports and/or in response to a request from a scheduled entity. The scheduling entity may then jointly select uplink and downlink beams based on both the received downlink beam measurement report and uplink beam measurements.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides for inter-cell interference randomization between two or more cells. For example, a network entity may determine a cell identifier associated with the network entity and perform at least one of an interleaving, rate-matching, or resource element mapping on at least one codeword based on the cell identifier. The network entity may further communicate with a user equipment (UE) in accordance with performing at least one of the interleaving, rate-matching, or resource element mapping on the at least one codeword. In another example, a UE may receive a message from a network entity on a communication channel and identify a cell identifier associated with the network entity. The UE may further perform at least one of a de-interleaving, de-rate-matching, or resource element de-mapping on the message based on the cell identifier.

The method includes selecting a reference sequence of a plurality of reference sequences to transmit in a cell in a synchronization signal block (SSB) based at least on a logical value, wherein the logical value is determined based on a SSB index indicating a location of the SSB within a set of resources of a plurality of sets of resources and at least one of a cell ID of the cell, a set index indicating a location of the set of resources within the plurality of sets of resources, or a second value based on system information corresponding to the cell; and transmitting the selected reference sequence in the SSB.
