The UE may determine a particular control exclusion parameter based at least in part on a ratio of free resources, of the plurality of ratios of free resources, satisfying a threshold. The UE may select a resource for a future transmission based at least in part on the particular control exclusion parameter. The UE may reserve the selected resource. Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for using ranging signals to determine a position of a pedestrian user equipment (P-UE). In an aspect, a UE receives a plurality of ranging signals transmitted by one or more UEs, measures one or more properties of each of the plurality of ranging signals, and calculates an estimate of the position of the P-UE based on the one or more properties of each of the plurality of ranging signals. In an aspect, the P-UE transmits a plurality of ranging signals, receives a first message and a second message from first and second vehicle UEs (V-UEs), the first and second messages including first and second estimated positions of the P-UE and associated first and second confidences, and calculates an estimate of the position of the P-UE based on the first estimated position, the first confidence, the second estimated position, the second confidence, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for group communication which may include a first UE and a set of UEs. In one aspect, the first UE may receive from each UE of the set of UEs a PDU including a header that includes a QoS level for the UE. The first UE can also determine a supported QoS level for the first UE. In another aspect, the first UE can set a transmission QoS level for the first UE to be a lowest QoS level of the determined supported QoS level and the QoS level from each UE of the set of UEs. In a further aspect, the first UE can transmit by multicast to the set of UEs a PDU based on the set transmission QoS level.

In some aspects, a UE may receive the P2P communication; determine whether to relay the P2P communication based at least in part on the indication and at least one of: a location of the UE, or a UE identifier, included in the P2P communication, that identifies the UE and is associated with a request for the UE to relay the P2P communication; and selectively relay the P2P communication based at least in part on determining whether to relay the P2P communication.
