Abstract: In aspects, a user equipment (UE) forms groups of overlapping uplink transmissions among component carriers (CCs), and moves in time all uplink transmissions within a group, except an earliest transmission, to align leading edges. The UE then determines, for each uplink transmission, if a joint timeline is satisfied, and allocates total transmission power depending on whether the timeline is satisfied for all uplink transmissions. In aspects, a base station transmits, to a UE, a transmit power configuration that identifies a reserved power for uplink transmissions of cell groups. The base station then transmits, to the UE, an uplink grant or configuration that identifies a transmission power for a cell group in excess of its reserved power, and receives, from the UE, uplink transmissions that exhibit an allocation of total transmission power according to the reserved power and the transmission power for the cell group in excess of the reserved power.

The indication of the number of unsuccessful receipts of data channel transmissions may be provided as a binary representation of the total number, or may be provided as a quantized value in which each quantized point is associated with a certain number of unsuccessfully received data channel transmissions.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for uplink control information (UCI) transmission for overlapping physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource assignments with repetition. A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method generally includes receiving scheduling to transmit on the PUSCH in a first one or more slots associated with a first number of repetitions and scheduling to transmit on the PUCCH in a second one or more slots associated with a second number of repetitions. The scheduled transmissions overlap in at least one slot. The method includes determining which channel to transmit UCI on and which channel to drop for each of the first and second one or more slots. The method includes transmitting or dropping the UCI in the first and second one or more slots in accordance with the determination.

Abstract: User equipment (UE) connection handling is disclosed in which UE environmental status information is used at a network entity to make informed decisions regarding mobility handling and data offloading. A UE determines its environmental status information based on input from at least one non-RF sensor located in the UE. The UE generates and then transmits a control message comprising the UE environmental status information to a network entity in communication with the UE. The network entity receives the control message and uses the UE environmental status information to manage a connection of the associated UE based at least in part on the UE environmental status information.

A first UE may receive, from a second UE such as a PLC, sidelink control information scheduling a first transmission to be transmitted by the first UE to the second UE on a first set of resources in a dedicated resource pool for sidelink control signaling. The first UE may receive an indication that a second transmission is scheduled to be transmitted by the first UE on a second set of resources which at least partially overlaps in time with the first set of resources. The first UE may transmit at least one of the first transmission or the second transmission in accordance with a conflict resolution rule based on the second set of resources at least partially overlapping with the first set of resources.

A user equipment (UE) may identify a baseline physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring capability of the UE and an enhanced PDCCH monitoring capability of the UE, where the enhanced PDCCH monitoring capability facilitates monitoring by the UE of more PDCCH monitoring opportunities per slot than the baseline PDCCH monitoring capability. The UE may report, to a base station, the enhanced PDCCH monitoring capability and also the baseline PDCCH monitoring capability. The UE may receive, based on the UE reporting the enhanced PDCCH monitoring capability, at least one control resource set configuration that includes an indication that a corresponding control resource set is configured for enhanced PDCCH monitoring. The UE may monitor the corresponding control resource set in accordance with the enhanced PDCCH monitoring capability of the UE.

The wireless communication device determines that a first resource associated with a first PDCCH candidate search space of the plurality of PDCCH candidate search spaces overlaps with a preconfigured resource. The wireless communication device monitors for a downlink control message over the downlink control channel by excluding monitoring in at least the first PDCCH candidate search space based on the determining.
