Abstract: Disclosed is a method for a station (STA) device transmitting data in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system. The method for transmitting data, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: FEC encoding transmission data; constellation mapping the transmission data; inserting a pilot tone in the transmission data; performing Inverse Discrete Fourier Transform (IDFT) on the transmission data; and upconverting the transmission data and transmitting a transmission signal, wherein, if an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) scheme is applied to the transmission signal, the transmission signal comprises at least one tone unit which is the unit of subcarrier allocation of the OFDMA scheme.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for transmitting a frame in a wireless communication system, in particular, a high density wireless LAN system, and a station apparatus for performing the same. To this end, a station for transmitting a frame configures a radio frame for a second type station, including a frame part for a first type station and a frame part for the second type station, wherein the frame part for the second type station includes a first signaling field (SIG A) for the second type station and a second signaling field (SIG B) for the second type station. The SIG A for the second type station includes modulation and coding scheme (MCS) information applied to the SIG B for the second type station, and the MCS level applied to the SIG B for the second type station supports an MCS having level than the lowest MCS level defined for the first type station.

Abstract: A method for a station (STA), which supports a high efficiency physical layer protocol data unit (HE PPDU), for operating in a power-save (PS) mode in a wireless LAN system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a PPDU; decoding at least a part of the PPDU; and operating in a doze state until the end of the PPDU on the basis of the result of decoding at least a part of the PPDU, wherein if the PPDU is configured as a very high throughput (VHT) PPDU, which is a legacy format compared to the HE PPDU, and the VHT PPDU is determined to be an uplink frame transmitted to an access point (AP) by another STA belonging to the same basic service set (BSS) as the STA, then the STA can operate in a doze state until the end of the PPDU.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a frame in a wireless LAN system according to the present embodiment comprises: a step of determining whether to transmit a first frame to an AP through an EDCA by comparing a time parameter indicating the time used for transmission of a wireless terminal with a predetermined allowable time; a step of summing up, to the time parameter, a first required time for transmission of the first frame; a step of receiving, from the AP, a trigger frame for multi-user uplink transmission; and a step of performing data processing for a second frame transmitted in response to the trigger frame, wherein a second required time for transmission of the second frame is not summed up to the time parameter.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for a station (STA) to save power in a wireless local area network (WLAN) are provided. For this, the STA receives a MU PPDU (Multi-User Physical Protocol Data unit) comprising A-MPDU (Aggregated MAC Protocol Data Unit) from an AP (Access Point). The STA enters into a doze state until an end of the MU PPDU, when a receiver address of the A-MPDU is equal to the STA's address, and there is an indication indicating a start of EOF (End-Of-Frame) padding.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method by which a station (STA) performs an extended inter-frame space (EIFS) operation in a wireless LAN system supporting multi-user (MU) transmission comprise the steps of: receiving a MU frame including a SIG-A field and a SIG-B field; estimating, by other STAs for receiving the MU frame, an ACK transmission time (ACK Tx Time) required for transmitting ACK information when the MU frame causes the EIFS operation; and delaying channel access during an EIFS time determined on the basis of the estimated ACK transmission time, wherein the step for estimating the ACK transmission time enables the estimation of the ACK transmission time by assuming the lowest MCS level among modulation and coding scheme (MCS) levels used for the transmission of the ACK information, and the minimum resource (RU) among the RUs used for the transmission of the ACK information.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an operating method of a station (STA) in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system. The method includes receiving a downlink (DL) physical protocol data unit (PPDU) and sending an uplink (UL) PPDU as a response to the DL PPDU. The DL PPDU may include at least one MAC protocol data unit (MPDU) and the at least one MPDU may include a first high efficiency (HE) control field. The UL PPDU may include at least one MAC protocol data unit (MPDU) and the at least one MPDU may include a second high efficiency (HE) control field. The each of the first and second HE control fields corresponds to an HT control field and comprises a plurality of aggregated HE control subfield. The HT control field includes VHT subfield value set to “1” and HE subfield value set to “1”.
