Abstract:
A biasing arrangement for an electronic apparatus having an input device connected by wires is disclosed. The biasing arrangement comprises a bias signal generator arranged to provide a bias voltage and a reference voltage; a flying capacitor circuitry having a first set of switches connected to said bias signal generator to selectively connecting and disconnecting the bias voltage and reference voltage, respectively, over a capacitor of the flying capacitor circuitry, and the flying capacitor circuitry further having a second set of switches to selectively connecting and disconnecting the voltage over the capacitor to an output of the flying capacitor circuitry, wherein the first and second sets of switches are not both in a connecting state at any time; and a wired connection between output of the flying capacitor circuitry and the input device of the apparatus. An electronic apparatus, a biasing method, and a computer program are also disclosed.

The ear loop can include an attachment portion (810) including a substantially circular arc, and an ear engagement portion (820) coupled to the headset attachment portion and including a flexible wire (821) surrounded by a coating (822). The earplug can include a neck attachment portion (1110) and an ear engaging portion (1120) adjacent to the headset engaging portion and having a protruding lip (1121).
Abstract:
A wireless earphone includes an earphone, a microphone, a hanging portion and an adjusting portion fixed with the hanging portion. The answering portion is mounted on the junction area of the hanging portion and the adjusting portion. The microphone is mounted on the other end of the adjusting portion. The wireless earphone is made of flexible, elastic material. The bluetooth has at least one block protruding thereon, to make the wireless earphone be disassembly mounted on a portable electronic device. The invention also includes a portable electronic device using the wireless earphone.
Abstract:
An audio accessory for a headset. The accessory includes a first circuit for wirelessly receiving audio signals from a first external source of audio signals, a second circuit for mechanically coupling to a second external source of audio signals for receiving the audio signals from the second external source of audio signals, controlling circuitry for controlling the relative amplitude of audio signals from the first external source and the second external source transmitted to a playback device, a connector for detachably coupling to the playback device to transmit audio signals from the controlling circuitry to the playback device, and circuitry communicatingly coupling the controlling circuitry and the connector for transmitting audio signals from the controlling circuitry to the connector.
Abstract:
A personal communications earpiece (10, 10a, 10b) for use with a personal communications device such as a telephone (50). The personal communications earpiece (10, 10a, 10b) has an ear hook (12) for placing over an ear (60) of the user. An ear bud (14, 14a) containing a speaker (27) is both physically and electrically connected to the ear hook (12) by a flexible connector (16). A front portion (22) of the ear hook (12) extends generally downward in front of the ear (60). In one embodiment, the ear bud (14) has an in ear portion (28) with a plurality of grooves (30) therein for assisting in preventing the ear bud (14) from completely blocking or occluding the ear canal of the user.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a headset comprising a housing with an earphone and at least one user interface input or output function, said headset also comprising a fastening element arranged for positioning the headset close to a person's ear during use. According to the invention, said headset furthermore comprises an accelerometer arranged for detecting the orientation in at least one dimension of said housing, said accelerometer being associated with a headset control unit which is arranged for configuring a function of said user interface input or output function depending on said orientation of the housing.

Abstract:
A headset utilizing an extendable microphone boom that positions the microphone closer to the user's mouth when deployed. A wireless headset that is adjustable to the user's face and ear geometry through the use of a flexible joint between the headset housing and the earpiece. A wireless headset which uses a deployable microphone boom that deploys into a curved position. A wireless headset which utilizes a boom with material properties such that the boom may be easily placed into a position within a range, yet at the edges of this range have elastic properties.
Abstract:
A headset for communication with a device is configured for processing audio signals captured by the headset to detect user speech and transmitting, to the device, sampled representations of the captured audio signals generally only when user speech is detected.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide an earphone for playing external background sounds which comprises a background audio module and a speaker, wherein said earphone may be connected to portable electronic devices and outputs audio signals such as voice, music, or radio received from the electronic devices through the speaker. Said earphone is able to acquire the external background sounds through background audio module and outputs the acquired background sounds along with the audio signals through the speaker. Thereby, user can still hear the external background sounds through the speaker while talking on a phone or listening to audio signals like music or radio.
