    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for automatically arranging media assets that are contextually related to a requested media asset for access prior to a start time of the requested media asset. In some embodiments, user input circuitry may receive a user request to access a media asset. Control circuitry may identify, by consulting a database, a first set of media assets that share a context with the requested media asset and were released prior to the release date of the requested media asset. Control circuitry may determine a subset of media assets of the first set of media assets by performing a comparison of each media asset of the first set of the media assets against a viewing history of the user. Control circuitry may access a user profile to determine a user constraint, and generate a recommendation for display based on a first aspect of the user constraint.

    Abstract: The application aids users by providing supplemental audio content. For example, the application determines a subject of content provided to user equipment during a first time period of the content. The application retrieves a profile associated with the user equipment and retrieves supplemental audio related to the profile and related to the subject of the content. The application detects a supplementation point in the content corresponding with audio content similar to a supplementation signature and transmits the supplemental audio to the user equipment for output at the supplementation point.

The media asset is split into a first portion with a first importance and a second portion with the second importance.     Abstract: Systems and methods for routing audio and/or video streams and remote rendered video layout for conference side group conversations and voice assistant providers are disclosed. During a main conference comprising a plurality of users, a request is received to create a side group conversation comprising a subgroup of the plurality of users. A voice assistant provider is invited to the side group conversation. Users in the subgroup may be granted different permissions to query or receive responses from the voice assistant. Incoming audio and video streams from each user are demultiplexed and decoded. Decoded audio streams are processed by an appropriate audio mixer of the group and voice assistant. Decoded video streams are processed and rendered based on a video grouping render policies. Processed audio streams for each group and voice assistant and/or rendered videos are encoded and routed to each user through their dedicated multiplexer.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for determining personalized timing for generating for display advertisements to users. Rather than an expert determining time segments of a media asset most suitable for presenting advertisements to users, the most suitable time segments in a media asset for presenting advertisements to users may be customized based on a user's profile information and/or the user's level of engagement in a media asset. The media guidance application may parse a media asset into multiple time segments and determine one or more time segments associated with metadata that matches content characteristics preferred by the user. One or more advertisements may be presented to the user in these time segments determined by the media guidance application instead of the time segments determined by the expert.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for guaranteeing end-to-end QoS for wireless connections over a cable network are disclosed. Provisioning of on-demand guaranteed bandwidth connection over a cable network uses mechanisms from DOCSIS domain and Wi-Fi domain. A multi-domain orchestrator is implemented to control both domains. A bandwidth request is received from a client device connecting to a network service provider access point. The bandwidth request is updated for both domains with results of speed test of the wireless link if the speed test results are lower than the bandwidth request. The orchestrator and client device negotiate the bandwidth request using a three-way handshake over PacketCable Multimedia (PCMM) protocol. If the available bandwidth on either the DOCSIS or wireless link is less than the bandwidth request, the orchestrator generates a new bandwidth offer. If the client device accepts the offer, the orchestrator configures the DOCSIS and wireless links using their respective domain protocols to provision the connection with guaranteed end-to-end bandwidth.
