    Abstract: Timer configurations for new radio (NR) unlicensed (NR-U) and NR shared spectrum (NR-SS) operations are disclosed. In NR-U and NR-SS operations, certain event timers may be interrupted by a user equipment (UE) when it detects that its serving base station has failed a listen before talk (LBT) procedure, thereby losing access to the shared communication spectrum. When the UE detects a subsequent successful LBT, it resumes the progression of the event timer. In NR-SS operations, the UE may also interrupt the applicable timers either in all slots dedicated to another operator or in all slots in which the serving base station does not have transmission access.

    Abstract: Configuration of downlink and uplink partial subframes in shared radio frequency (RF) spectrum is discussed. The various described aspects provide for different configurations for start and end transmissions from base stations and user equipments (UEs) when transmitting over partial subframes. With downlink initial partial subframes, a uniform puncturing may be used to reduce the number of resource elements (REs) available for downlink transmission without causing the base station to re-precode any of the data. Additional aspect for downlink partial subframe transmission allows for downlink control channels to identify multiple start points within the subframe at short downlink shared channel locations. On the uplink aspect, UEs may be informed with configurations for both full and partial subframe transmissions. The UE will select which configuration to use based on whether it will transmit on full or partial subframes. Additionally, a UE have scheduled or semi-scheduled modes for partial subframe transmissions.

    Abstract: A first method for wireless communications may comprise determining sizes of payloads of user equipments (UEs), determining whether to multiplex the payloads of the UEs based on the sizes of the payloads, and allocating codes or cyclic shifts to the UEs to transmit the payloads on a single interlace of resources. A second method for wireless communications may comprise determining a first code or a first cyclic shift used for a first transmission using an interlace of resources, and allocating second codes or second cyclic shifts to UEs for a second transmission, where the second transmission may be multiplexed with the first transmission on the interlace of resources. A third method for wireless communications may comprise allocating a first interlace of resources for a first transmission for occupying an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band, and allocating a second interlace of resources, occupied by a base station, for a second transmission.

    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program for wireless communication that allows for greater scheduling flexibility of physical resources are disclosed. A UE receives information from a base station about a time division duplex (TDD) frame structure of a plurality of frames that include a plurality of subframes. The UE determines a control channel search space within the plurality of subframes based on the information. The UE determines a search strategy including a maximum aggregation level based on the control channel search space. The UE performs a blind decoding of the control channel search space with the search strategy to obtain control information. The control channel search space may include a size and a location of a subset of the DL subframes allowed to carry the control information. The UE may determine a plurality of UL subframes assigned for transmitting scheduled UL resources associated with a UL control signaling.

    Abstract: A base station may configure a set of autonomous uplink (AUL) resources for a specific base station receive beam, or the AUL resources may be configured for specific user equipment (UEs) or user groups. Additionally, the AUL resources may be configured to include a sensing portion, a data portion, or both. As an example, a UE may receive an AUL configuration that includes an indication of a set of AUL resources that are specific to a base station receive beam. The UE may then determine that the set of AUL resources is available and perform an AUL transmission of uplink data using the set of beam-specific AUL resources. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may perform the AUL transmission with respective portions that include a sensing signal and the uplink data. The base station may use the sensing signal to determine a receive beam on which to receive the uplink data.

    Abstract: In order to overcome problems that a UE may face in determining CORESETs and beams for communication with the base station during a COT, a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium are provided for a base station to indicate to the UE which CORESET(s), QCL relationships, UL resources, and/or spatial relationships are selected for a COT.
