Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain a channel state information (CSI) report that is associated with a multi-symbol downlink reference signal and that indicates a report quantity associated with a Doppler shift measurement, a per-path Doppler measurement, or a per-beam-per-path Doppler measurement. The UE may count a number of CSI processing units (CPU's) for processing the CSI report based at least in part on the report quantity. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring for communications on noncontiguous carriers of a single cell. By combining multiple noncontiguous carriers into a single cell, broadcast overhead can be reduced and cell management (i.e., only one cell) can be simplified. For example, a network entity may transmit to a user equipment (UE) configuration information that configures the UE for communications on noncontiguous carriers of a single cell. The network entity and the UE may then communicate on the noncontiguous carriers in accordance with the configuration information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a control message from a base station indicating a configuration of an uplink waveform for full-duplex communications at the UE. The UE may receive an additional control message scheduling a set of uplink resources and a set of downlink resources for the full-duplex communications. The set of uplink resources and the set of downlink resources may at least partially overlap in a time-domain. A frequency-domain gap between the set of uplink resources and the set of downlink resources may be based on the first uplink waveform and a first downlink waveform used by the base station. The UE may communicate with the base station on the set of uplink resources and the set of downlink resources in accordance with the frequency-domain gap.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. More particularly, various aspects relate generally to power boosting a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) in a CSI-RS resource occasion occurring in a sub-band full duplex (SBFD) set of symbols and/or in a CSI-RS resource occasion that overlaps with an uplink sub-band and/or a guard band of the SBFD set of symbols. In some aspects, a network node may configure a UE with a CSI-RS resource associated with SBFD sets of symbols and non-SBFD sets of symbols. The network node may transmit, and the UE may receive, in an instance of the CSI-RS resource that occurs in an SBFD set of symbols, a CSI-RS. The CSI-RS may be associated with a power-boosted energy per resource element (EPRE) as compared to an EPRE of a CSI-RS transmitted in a CSI-RS occasion occurring in a non-SBFD set of symbols.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described technique provide for a user equipment (UE) to selectively transmit an uplink repetition configured with intra-slot frequency hopping during a slot including both sub-band full duplex (SBFD) and non-SBFD symbols. For example, the UE may receive a control message scheduling repetitions of an uplink message and indicating a configuration for intra-slot frequency hopping for the repetitions. In some cases, the UE may selectively transmit a repetition during a mixed symbol slot according to whether the slot is considered available, an alignment of a boundary between the SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols of the mixed symbol slot with time resources for portions of the repetition, transmission parameters associated with SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for association of subband full duplex (SBFD) configurations and bandwidth parts (BWP). An example method, performed at a user equipment (UE), generally includes receiving signaling indicating one or more associations between one or more subband full duplex (SBFD) configurations and one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs), determining whether one of the SBFD configurations is applicable to a first BWP based on the associations, and communicating on the first BWP in accordance with the determination.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques may allow for a user equipment (UE) to communicate with a network entity using full-duplex communication techniques. For example, the UE may transmit, to the network entity, an indication of respective quantities of transmit chains and receive chains at the UE supports for full-duplex and half-duplex communications. In some cases, the UE may identify one or more fixed subbands within a component carrier (CC) or one or more fixed CCs that are allocated for uplink transmissions, and the UE may identify one or more guard bands between the fixed uplink subbands or uplink CCs and one or more downlink subbands or downlink CCs, respectively. In some examples, the UE may identify a guard interval between half-duplex resources and full-duplex resources to allow time for the UE to switch between the half-duplex resources and the full-duplex resources.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a semi-static time and frequency configuration for subband full duplex (SBFD) operation in a symbol or slot pattern. The UE may receive a dynamic indication that adds or updates one or more SBFD symbols or slots in the symbol or slot pattern. The UE may communicate based at least in part on the semi-static time and frequency configuration and one or more of the dynamic indication or a restriction rule that restricts application of the dynamic indication. Numerous other aspects are described.
