Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support AI model-based enhancements for RRC IDLE and INACTIVE state operations. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a wireless communication device, artificial intelligence (AI) model configuration information for IDLE/INACTIVE state procedures; retrieving, by the wireless communication device, an AI model for IDLE/INACTIVE state procedures based on the AI model configuration information; and performing, by the wireless communication device, one or more IDLE/INACTIVE state procedures based on the AI model. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support beam specific channel sensing. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes performing a channel sensing operation prior to transmitting a first transmission via a first beam of a plurality of beams. The method also includes determining a beam specific channel sensing failure for the first beam based on performing the channel sensing operation. The method further includes transmitting channel sensing failure information indicating a channel sensing failure for the first beam and based on the beam specific channel sensing failure and one or more previous beam specific channel sensing failures. Abstract: A source network node and a UE may obtain at least one mobility related prediction associated with the UE or at least one target network node, the at least one mobility related prediction being derived by at least one neural network, and the source network node may handover the UE from the source network node to the at least one target network node based on the at least one mobility related prediction. The target network node may receive the handover request, obtain at least one mobility related prediction associated with the UE or the target network node, and output for transmission a handover request ACK, the handover request ACK based at least in part on the at least one mobility related prediction.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect radio link failure on a master cell group. Accordingly, the UE may determine a state of a secondary cell group (SCG). Additionally, the UE may initiate activation of the SCG based at least in part on the state of the SCG. For example, the activation of the SCG may be initiated based at least in part on the state being a deactivated state, a dormant state, or an enhanced dormant state. Accordingly, the UE may transmit master cell group (MCG) failure recovery information over the SCG and receive, on the SCG, MCG reconnection information. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for relaying and side link communication are provided. An example method may include receiving, from a BS via a controlled discovery procedure, a query to verify a sidelink procedure with at least one UE. The example method may further include establishing, via the BS as a L2 relay, the sidelink procedure with the at least one UE. The example method may further include switching from the sidelink procedure to a sidelink PDCP procedure with a hybrid mode, the BS being an L2 relay for the sidelink PDCP procedure. The example method may further include transmitting to the at least one UE via the BS as the L2 relay, or receiving, from the at least one UE via the BS as an L2 relay, one or more PDCP PDUs corresponding to L2.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for block feedback of multiple semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasions. Block feedback may be provided based on variable feedback timing values that are associated with one or more SPS occasions. A user equipment (UE) may determine feedback for each of two or more SPS occasions, and transmit a block feedback that indicates the feedback. A separate feedback timing between a SPS occasion and uplink feedback resources may be provided for multiple SPS occasions, which are associated with a single uplink feedback resource. Alternatively, a minimum feedback timing value and a maximum feedback timing value may be configured for a particular uplink resource, and block feedback for multiple SPS occasions within the minimum and maximum feedback timing values may be reported in the uplink feedback resource.

Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for facilitating sidelink cancellation. A network entity, such as a base station, may schedule a sidelink transmission between a transmitting wireless communication device and a receiving wireless communication device and transmit scheduling information for the sidelink transmission to at least the transmitting wireless communication device. The network entity may further transmit control information including a cancellation indication to at least the transmitting UE. The cancellation indication may indicate at least an overlap between a portion of the resources allocated to the sidelink transmission and an additional transmission. Based on the cancellation indication, the transmitting wireless communication device may modify the sidelink transmission.
