    Abstract: A steel panel damper is provided for reinforcing a building structure. The steel panel damper is disposed between a first member and an opposite second member arranged in the building structure. The steel panel damper comprises a first elastic segment, a second elastic segment, an energy dissipation segment, a first end plate, and a second end plate. In terms of the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the first direction, the first elastic segment and the second elastic segment are greater than the energy dissipation segment.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a Method for converting vibration to voice frequency wirelessly and a method thereof. By sensing a first vibration variation data and a voice frequency variation data of a vocal vibration part in a first sensing period, a voice frequency reference data is obtained from the voice frequency variation data and the first vibration result. A second vibration result is obtained at a second sensing period for converting to a voice frequency output signal, and the voice frequency output signal is used to output as a voice signal corresponding to the voice frequency various result. Thus, the present application provides a voice signal close to a human voice.

    Abstract: The method of constructing QAP-based Homomorphic Encryption (HE) in the semi-public setting is introduced, which comprises: encryption, computation, and decryption. The data receiver produces a semi-public key Keys-pub.The data provider can encode his k-qubit plaintext |x to a k-qubit ciphertext |ψen=QP|x via a k-qubit invertible operator QP randomly generated by Keys-pub. From the provider, the message En(ζp) of QP encoded by a cryptosystem Gcrypt in Keys-pub is transmitted to the receiver through a small-resource communication channel and the ciphertext |ψen is conveyed to the cloud. The receiver creates the instruction of encoded computation Uen=PMQP and transports to the cloud, where M is the required k-qubit arithmetic operation, P a k-qubit permutation, and a k-qubit operator to mingle with M. According the instruction, the cloud performs the encrypted evaluation Uen|ψen and transfer to the receiver. The decryption KeyprivUen|ψen is conducted by the receiver via the private key Keypriv=†P†, a complex-transpose of the product P, to obtain the final result M|x.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a time delay integration (TDI) sensor using a rolling shutter. The TDI sensor includes multiple pixel columns. Each pixel column includes multiple pixels arranged in an along-track direction, wherein two adjacent pixels or two adjacent pixel groups in every pixel column have a separation space therebetween. The separation space is equal to a pixel height multiplied by a time ratio of a line time difference of the rolling shutter and a frame period, or equal to a summation of at least one pixel height and a multiplication of the pixel height by the time ratio of the line time difference and the frame period. The TDI sensor further records defect pixels of a pixel array such that in integrating pixel data to integrators, the pixel data associated with the defect pixels is not integrated into corresponding integrators.

    Abstract: An energy dissipation device includes a primary core module, a housing module, first and second outer plates, an energy dissipation unit, first and second preload tension members and a resilient compression unit when the primary core module and the housing module are subjected to an external force, the first and second preload tension members stretched by the external force, and the resilient compression unit is compressed, such that relative movement between the primary core module and the housing module is generated. The energy dissipation unit generates a retarding force during the relative movement between the primary core module and the housing module, so as to dissipate the kinetic energy generated as a result of the external force.

    Abstract: An integrated device includes a laser ranging module, a dual-branched fiber bundle, a beam splitter, and an image receiving module. The laser ranging module includes a light source, an optical receiver and a computing unit. The fiber bundle is disposed between the laser ranging module and the beam splitter. A target reflects a measuring beam emitted by the light source to form a reflected beam. The beam splitter splits the reflected beam into a first reflected beam and a second reflected beam. The first reflected beam is transmitted to the optical receiver through the fiber bundle to generate a measurement signal. The computing unit receives the measurement signal to calculate a distance between the target and the fiber bundle. The image receiving module is disposed on the optical path of the second reflected beam to receive the second reflected beam and displays the image of the target.
