Abstract: A computer-implemented method and an apparatus are provided for presenting an option to purchase an NFT based on a scene of a media asset to an advertiser. One example computer-implemented method includes obtaining, from a first source, a scene of a media asset, determining that the scene comprises a product, obtaining, from a second source, a non-fungible token (NFT) based on the scene, matching the NFT to an advertiser based on the product, and presenting an option to purchase the matched NFT to the advertiser.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a method performed at a computer system that is in communication with an electric vehicle charging station (EVCS). The EVCS includes a camera for obtaining images in a region proximal to the EVCS. The method includes capturing, using the camera, a plurality of images of electric vehicles, each image in the plurality of images being an image of a respective electric vehicle. The method further includes, for each respective image of the plurality of images of electric vehicles: determining, without user intervention, a characteristic of the respective electric vehicle; and tagging, without user intervention, the respective image with the characteristic of the respective electric vehicle. The method further includes training a first machine learning algorithm to identify the characteristic of other electric vehicles using the tagged plurality of images.

Abstract: An event of interest may be tracked using a distributed intelligence video surveillance system. The distributed intelligence video surveillance system includes a lead video camera and a plurality of child video cameras that are configured to communicate with the lead video camera. One of the plurality of child video cameras may receive a video image and perform analytics and event generation for any events of interest found within the video image. The child video camera extracts metadata for any found events of interest and communicates the extracted metadata to the lead video camera. The lead video camera communicates the extracted metadata to others of the plurality of child video cameras so that the others of the plurality of child video cameras can be alerted to track the found events of interest.

Abstract: Examples disclosed herein involve a computing system configured to (i) receive, from an image-capture device, image-capture metadata that provides information about a set of images that were passively captured by the image-capture device, (ii) based at least on the received image-capture metadata, apply a collection policy for determining whether to collect any of the set of images that have been passively captured by the image-capture device and thereby determine that a selected subset of one or more images in the set of images are to be collected from the image-capture device, (iii) instruct the image-capture device to upload the selected subset of one or more images, and (iv) after instructing the image-capture device to upload the selected subset of one or more images, receive the selected subset of one or more images from the image-capture device.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a computer-implemented method that includes creating, during content production, an audio object and metadata associated with the audio object based on a motion vector analysis of an object in one or more image frames in a video. The method can include, during the content production, inserting the audio object and the metadata associated with the audio object into at least one of an audio encoder or a video encoder. The method can include, during content playback, rendering the audio object, without image frame analysis, based on decoding the audio object and parsing the metadata associated with the audio object.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may include a system for measuring document legibility. The system may automatically receive document image data from a user device. The system may then process the image data using optical character recognition to create language data containing a plurality of words. The system may then obtain an overall number by counting the plurality of words in the language data. The system may then identify and count the common words within the plurality of words by comparing the plurality of words to words in a database. A score may be obtained by dividing the common word number by the overall number. The score may then be compared to a legibility threshold. If the score is below the threshold, the system may determine the document is illegible. If the score is above the threshold, the system may determine the document is legible.
