    Abstract: Aspects presented herein relate to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a UE. In some aspects, the apparatus may determine a timing synchronization procedure with at least one sidelink UE. The apparatus may also configure a timing synchronization signal associated with the timing synchronization procedure, the timing synchronization signal including at least one of a signal bandwidth or a signal location. The apparatus may also transmit, to the at least one sidelink UE, the timing synchronization signal associated with the timing synchronization procedure.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration that indicates a set of frequency components for carrier aggregation and that indicates multiple sets of channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) or sounding reference signals (SRSs), wherein different sets of CSI-RSs or SRSs, of the multiple sets of CSI-RSs or SRSs, correspond to different subsets of frequency components included in the set of frequency components. The UE may monitor for one or more CSI-RSs or SRSs, corresponding to a subset of frequency components included in the set of frequency components, based at least in part on the configuration.     Abstract: A method of wireless communication, by a first sidelink user equipment (UE), includes periodically receiving a set of sidelink beam failure detection reference signals (RSs) from a second sidelink UE. The method includes incrementing a beam failure detection (BFD) counter in response to one or more reference signals of the set of sidelink beam failure detection RSs having a received signal strength below a threshold. The first sidelink UE starts a beam failure detection timer in response to the reference signal(s) of the set of sidelink beam failure detection reference signals having the received signal strength below the threshold. Another method by a sidelink UE may periodically transmit a set of sidelink BFD RSs to another sidelink UE. The set of sidelink BFD RSs comprise one or more sidelink receive RSs. The sidelink UE configures the other sidelink UE with the sidelink receive BFD RSs.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a first sidelink user equipment (UE) transmits a sidelink (SL) beam failure recovery (BFR) message to a communications node, indicating a new candidate beam and an identifier (ID) of a second sidelink UE. The method also receives an acknowledgment of the SL BFR message. A communications node receives a sidelink beam failure recovery message from a first sidelink user equipment, indicating a new candidate beam and an ID of a second sidelink UE. The method also transmits information identifying the new candidate beam and the ID to the second sidelink UE. Another method by a first sidelink user equipment receives a sidelink beam failure recovery message from a base station, indicating a new candidate beam and an ID of a second sidelink UE. The method changes a beam used to communicate with the second sidelink UE in response to receiving the BFR message.
