Abstract: Embodiments of a high efficiency (HE) access point (HE AP) and HE station (HE STA) are generally described herein. The HE AP may transmit a frame that includes a transmit power envelope element to indicate local maximum transmit power constraints for an operating bandwidth of the HE AP on a per-segment basis. The operating bandwidth may be configurable for division into segments of a configurable segment size. The transmit power envelope element may include: a transmit power information field that includes: a local maximum transmit power count subfield that indicates the operating bandwidth, and a segment size subfield that indicates the segment size; and for each of the segments, a local maximum transmit power per segment field that indicates a local maximum transmit power for the segment.

Abstract: Computing readable media, apparatuses, and methods for signaling for uplink sounding are disclosed. An apparatus is disclosed comprising processing circuitry. The processing circuitry may be configured to: decode a trigger frame comprising a resource unit (RU) allocation, and a spatial stream (SS) allocation for the first wireless device to transmit an uplink (UL) sounding signal, where the trigger frame include an indication that the trigger frame is for the UL sounding signal. The processing circuitry may be further configured to: determine a path loss based on the indication of the transmit power and a received power of the trigger frame at the first wireless device. The processing circuitry may be configured to: determine a transmit power for the UL sounding signal based on the path loss; and transmit the UL sounding signal in accordance with the RU allocation, the SS allocation, and the transmit power.

The processing circuitry may be further configured to set an Intra-BSS network allocation vector (NAV) to the first duration if the first duration is longer than a current duration of the Intra-BSS NAV and the frame is determined to be the intra-BSS frame and set the second NAV to the first duration if the first duration is longer than a current duration of the second NAV and the frame is determined to be the inter-BSS frame or the unclassified frame.

Abstract: Methods, computer readable media, and wireless apparatuses are disclosed for a TXOP duration field disable setting in a HE preamble, such as HE-SIG-A. An apparatus of a wireless device can include processing circuitry configured to decode a HE PPDU received from a second wireless device, the HE PPDU including a first TXOP duration field in a PHY portion of the HE PPDU. The processing circuitry can detect whether the TXOP duration field includes a disable flag based on bit values of the TXOP duration field. The disable flag can indicate absence of duration information in the TXOP duration field. Upon detecting the disable flag, a response HE PPDU can be encoded for transmission to the second wireless device. The response HE PPDU can include a second TXOP duration field with a disable flag within a PHY portion of the response HE PPDU.

The device may cause to wait, by the device, at least for a duration specified by a channel switch time (CST) parameter. The device may cause to send device data to the second device over the first channel or the second channel based at least in part on the CST parameter.

Abstract: Embodiments of a LP-WUR (low-power wake-up radio) wake-up packet acknowledgement procedure are generally described herein. A first wireless device encodes for transmission of a wake-up packet of a LP-WUR to a second wireless device, the wake-up packet to wake up a WLAN (wireless local area network) radio of the second wireless device. Upon decoding a response frame from the second wireless device received during a predefined time period: the first wireless device encodes for transmission of a data packet to the WLAN radio of the second wireless device. Upon failing to receive the response frame from the second wireless device during the predefined time period: the first wireless device encodes for retransmission of the wake-up packet to the second wireless device.

Abstract: Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, systems and/or methods of terminating a Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN) path. For example, an apparatus may include logic and circuitry configured to cause a first NAN device to transmit a message including a NAN Data Link (NDL) attribute corresponding to an NDL with a second NAN device, the NDL attribute including a Maximal (Max) Idle Period field to indicate a time period during which the second NAN device is allowed to refrain from transmitting over the NDL without the NDL being terminated; and to allow the first NAN device to terminate all NAN Data Paths (NDPs) over the NDL, if any frame is not received from the second NAN device for at least the time period indicated by the Max Idle Period field.
