摘要: A kiosk for accepting a portable electronic device from a client in exchange for payment includes a display, one or more cameras, a portable device receiving arrangement, a payment dispensing arrangement, and a communication connection to a remote server and/or operator. The kiosk is configured to, in conjunction with the remote server and/or operator, control an application program executing on the portable electronic device and one or more the cameras to detect characteristics of the portable electronic device. The kiosk is also configured to determine a value for the portable electronic device based upon aspects including the detected characteristics, and to display the determined value on said at least one display for approval by the client. Subsequently, based upon the determined value, the kiosk provides a payment to the client via the payment dispensing arrangement, and deposits the portable electronic device in the kiosk for subsequent collection.

摘要: A coin entering from a depositing port of a coin selector is identified by a denomination while passing through a coin passage. A coin of a predetermined denomination is stored, and a coin of a denomination other than the predetermined denomination is discharged to the outside. Provided is a coin selector including a removal mechanism that suitably removes a coin clogged in a coin passage. The coin selector includes a first pushing portion and a second pushing portion that push a coin in a moving direction of the coin and a direction intersecting with the moving direction in the coin passage from a depositing port for depositing the coin to a dispensing port for discharging the coin. When the coin is clogged, the coin is pushed by a pushing unit to eliminate the coin clogging, and the clogged coin is discharged to the dispensing port.

In accordance with a determination that the one or more criteria are met, the method includes issuing (i) a signal to the unattended machine, via the slave interface, that the at least one payment peripheral is unavailable and (ii) a signal to the at least one payment peripheral, via the one or more host interfaces, to dispense the predetermined amount.

摘要: In one aspect, the present invention provides a computing system for effecting an optimised condition for one or more booking requests in a venue having one or more spaces, comprising an allocation module executing on a processor and arranged to retrieve the booking requests from a database containing a plurality of booking requests, the booking requests including requestor constraint information regarding one or more constraints provided by the booking requestor including a predefined service period, and retrieve venue constraint information from a database, the venue constraint information including venue spatial information and furniture spatial information, wherein the allocation module executes an allocation algorithm that utilises the booking information and the venue constraint information to assess the capacity of the one or more venues and allocate a portion of space for each booking request to satisfy the optimised condition utilising the assessment, to derive an optimised allocation instruction set.
