摘要: A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet according to the present invention includes an irradiation-curable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes an acrylic polymer and a multifunctional acrylic oligomer. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, after curing, has a Young's modulus of 500 kPa to 10000 kPa at 23° C. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, after curing, has an adhesive strength of 3.0 N/20 mm or more. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer before curing may have an adhesive strength of typically 3.0 N/20 mm or more. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer before curing may have a Young's modulus of typically 30 kPa to 200 kPa at 23° C.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a cable wrapping tape, including a band-shaped support (1) made of a textile fabric with warp threads (2) and weft threads (3) made of a PET plastic. The warp and weft threads (2, 3) are made of filament yarns, the size of the weft threads (3) being larger than the size of the warp threads (2). An adhesive coating is applied to the support (1). The size of the warp threads (2) is larger than/equal to 20 dtex and smaller than/equal to 40 dtex.

摘要: Provided are systems and methods for the post-treatment of dry adhesive microstructures. The microstructures may be post-treated to comprise mushroom-like flaps at their tips to interface with the contact surface. In some aspects, a change in material composition of the microstructures in a dry adhesive may affect mechanical properties to enhance or diminish overall adhesive performance. For example, conductive additives can be added to the material to improve adhesive performance. In other aspects, microstructures comprising conductive material may allow for preload engagement sensing systems to be integrated into the microstructures.

摘要: A method of producing a vehicle includes determining the performance of aged adhesive coupons, which are subject to a worst-case scenario of manufacturing, aging, and stress testing. Virtual vehicle components are modeled using the performance of the aged adhesive coupons. The virtual vehicle components are then subjected to virtual mechanical forces to determine their virtual performance, which is then validated against the performance of identical real-life aged vehicle components subjected to identical mechanical forces. A virtual vehicle is modeled using the validated virtual vehicle components. The virtual performance of the virtual vehicle when subject to a virtual crash test is then compared against a predetermined standard, and the design of the virtual vehicle is considered feasible if its performance exceeds the predetermined standard. A vehicle is manufactured according to the feasible design of the virtual vehicle.
