    Abstract: A plurality of DRBs may be configured for UDC. The DRBs configured for UDC may only be activated for UDC operation upon UE request. The UE may cause selected DRBs to be activated for UDC operation using an uplink RRC message, a user plane control PDU, or a PDCP/SDAP header in a data PDU. A base station may transmit, to a UE, a UDC configuration configuring one or more DRBs to support UDC for the UE without initial UDC operation activation; receive, from the UE, an indication to activate at least one DRB with UDC configured for UDC operation; and, in response to the indication, at least one of: perform, locally, a PDCP entity re-establishment procedure associated with the at least one DRB, or inform the UE to perform a PDCP entity re-establishment procedure associated with the at least one DRB.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a communication technique for merging IoT technology with a 5G communication system for supporting a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4G system and a system therefor. The present invention provides a method by which a terminal re-establishes a PDCP in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: receiving a message including PDCP re-establishment information on a DRB from a base station in which an RRC connection is set up; checking whether the PDCP re-establishment information includes configuration information of an SDAP layer; and determining whether to perform a PDCP re-establishment procedure for changing the DRB operating as a PDCP of a first system into a PDCP of a second system on the basis of the checking result.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a method and device for assessing radio link quality in a wireless communication system. A method for assessing radio link quality according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: receiving configuration information related to a control resource set (CORESET) from a base station; and assessing radio link quality on the basis of one or more reference signals (RS) for the CORESET related to a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitored by a terminal.     Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method, an apparatus, and a system, which are applied to the field of communication technologies. The data transmission method includes: receiving, by a serving access network device, a first radio resource control RRC message from a terminal device, where the first RRC message is used to establish small data transmission SDT; and if the serving access network device does not meet a requirement of the SDT, sending a second RRC message or a third RRC message to the terminal device, where the second RRC message may be used to indicate the terminal device to terminate the SDT, and the third RRC message may be used to indicate the serving access network device to reject performing the SDT. Based on this solution, once the serving access network device does not meet the requirement of the SDT, the SDT may be rejected or terminated.
