摘要: There is described a system for determining air content of fresh concrete received in a drum of a concrete mixer. The system generally has a high energy photon source mounted to the drum and emitting high energy photons towards a photon path rotating about a rotation axis as the drum rotates, the photon path is immersed in the fresh concrete during rotation, a photon detector mounted to the drum, the photon detector counting high energy photons received from the photon path; and generating a signal indicative of a number of counted events; a computing device determining an air content value of the fresh concrete based on the generated signal and on reference data; comparing the determined air content value to an air content threshold; and generating an alert based on the comparison to be displayed.

摘要: Systems and methods for monitoring athletic performances include determining “flight time,” e.g., the amount of time both feet are off the ground, and optionally “flight time” resulting from different types of activities, such as jogging, running, sprinting, jumping, etc. “Flight time” may help a player or coach better understand the effort the athlete is putting out, compare efforts of two or more players, gauge the athlete's performance change over time, and/or identify conditioning needs and/or areas for improvement. Such systems and methods also may generate and display various athletic performance metrics, such as: instantaneous flight time; average flight time; cumulative flight time during an athletic performance or other time period; instantaneous jump height; average jump height; cumulative jump height during an athletic performance or other time period; and comparisons of any flight time and/or jump height metric(s) of one player against another player and/or against himself/herself, etc.

摘要: A user-mountable electronic device includes a housing, an accelerometer located within the housing, and at least one processor located within the housing. The accelerometer measures acceleration of the user-mountable electronic device and is configured to generate an output in response to detecting acceleration of the user-mountable electronic device that is greater than a minimum acceleration threshold. The at least one processor controls operation of the user-mountable electronic device. The at least one processor is configured to receive the output generated by the accelerometer and, in response thereto, to transition from a dormant or standby state of the user-mountable electronic device to an active state of the user-mountable electronic device.

摘要: Embodiments are disclosed for enhancing engine sound. An example method for a vehicle comprises acquiring a signal including harmonic content generated by an engine of the vehicle, upmixing the signal into a plurality of channels for a given number of engine orders, adjusting an order filter for each engine order of the given number of engine orders based on operating conditions of the engine, filtering each channel of the plurality of channels with the corresponding order filter, mixing the filtered channels into a mono output, and outputting the mono output to at least one speaker in the vehicle. The mono output is delayed based on a position of the at least one speaker such that an occupant of the vehicle perceives the mono output as originating from the engine.
