摘要： An access system for a hub of a wind turbine, wherein the hub comprises a first flange for mounting a first rotor blade, a second flange for mounting a second rotor blade and a third flange for mounting a third rotor blade is provided. The hub comprises a first opening, a second opening and at least a third opening, each of the openings being suitable for accessing an interior of the hub from outside of the hub. The access system comprises a first ladder with a plurality of first rungs, the first ladder extending inward from the first opening, a second ladder with a plurality of second rungs, the second ladder extending inward from the second opening, and a third ladder with a plurality of third rungs, the third ladder extending inward from the third opening.

摘要： A folding ladder assembly having a door, a frame, and a strut connecting the door and frame. The strut comprises a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The first end of the strut is attached to the door via a strut stop bracket. The other end of the strut is attached to a stationary mounting plate, which is attached to the ladder opening frame. The strut is attached to the strut bracket via a strut standoff using an E-clip retaining ring. Optionally, the strut standoffs are riveted to the strut stop bracket and the stationary mounting plate. The strut stop bracket is optionally formed having a double bend to form two substantially parallel portions connected by a third non-parallel portion.

摘要： A stair having a central stringer and two parallel side stringers. A plurality of vertically-spaced half treads is disposed on each side of the central stringer and extends between the central stringer and an adjacent side stringer. The half treads on one side of the central stringer alternate with those on the other side of the central stringer. The central stringer may or may not be a structural member depending upon the stair configuration but in all cases serves at least as a protective shielding of the inside corners of the treads, thereby minimizing user injury from the corners in case of a fall or other user mishap. A pair of handrails are disposed in a plane forward and parallel to a plane passing through the front edges of the treads and positioned with respect to the treads to provide support for a user.

摘要： A turning type emergency escape is constituted by a rotary stowage box defining an evacuation passage therein, upper and lower covers pivoted to upper and lower portions of the inner side of the evacuation passage, a cover interlocking mechanism interlocking the upper and lower covers for simultaneously opening and closing movements, and a turning mechanism for rotating the stowage box between retracted and protruded positions. An extensible escape means is connected to the stowage box at the evacuation passage and is normally received in the evacuation way for extending out of the stowage box for escape. The extensible escape means has a plurality of telescopically connected pipe sections of different cross-sectional areas.

摘要： A fabricated steel ladder is provided particularly adapted for use on the sides of railroad cars and the like wherein the ladder rungs are formed with ends turned in 90 degrees in a manner so that cracks are avoided in the steel grains adjacent the inner radius of each turned end. A special indentation is formed on the inside surface of the turned end adjacent to the point of bending--the indentation causing a desired material flow so as to avoid cracking while increasing the material strength. The rung ends are cold headed during assembly with the other components of the ladder structure which avoids the necessity of separate fasteners used in prior art designs, and insures that substantially no radial clearance will be left between the rung ends and the apertures in which they are mounted and furthermore insures that the rung will be firmly affixed to the ladder stiles in an axial sense so as to eliminate looseness and rattle in the resulting structure.

摘要： A shield having a front plate and a pair of side flanges extending rearwardly and outwardly therefrom to a point substantially adjacent a supporting wall or beam substantially encases the ladder and prevents unauthorized use of the ladder. The length of the shield may be considerably reduced by attaching the shield to the ladder at a point above the ground. The front plate is hingedly attached to one of the side flanges and a locking device adjustably mounted on the rungs of the ladder secures the front plate in closed relationship to the face thereof.
