Abstract: The invention provides for a container that may include a liquid-holding vessel and a skeleton shell supporting the liquid holding vessel. The liquid-holding vessel may comprise a flexible polymer or plastic material for preventing contact between a liquid stored in or dispensed from the container and the skeleton. The liquid-holding vessel and the closure may be formed from a minimal amount of polymer or plastic. The invention also provides for a connection of a liquid-holding vessel with a fitment to the skeleton shell using ultrasonic means. Further, a skeleton shell with mating features allowing the skeleton shell to be formed with smooth edges is provided.

Abstract: Packaging for tobacco industry products is disclosed. The packaging comprises a pack (2) for holding tobacco industry products, and an outer wrapper (3) enveloping the pack. The outer wrapper comprises a removable portion (17) arranged to prevent opening of the pack until the removable portion has been removed. One of the pack and the removable portion comprises a tamper evident feature that remains attached to the other of the pack or the removable portion after the removable portion is removed from the pack. A method of packaging tobacco industry products is also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed are composition and methods for treating skin whereby a cosmetic composition is applied to a target area of skin. The cosmetic composition comprises an effective amount of a skin active agent. A barrier patch is also provided and has a backing layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive. The barrier patch has an adhesive release force of about 50 gms to about 400 gms; a WVTR from about 1 g/m2/24 h to about 500 g/m2/24 h; and a flexibility from about 8 grams to about 40 grams.

Abstract: A molded plastic tray adapted to receive a plastic overwrap film for preservation, secure handling and display of a perishable food product in the wrapped tray, such as fresh fruit or vegetables. The tray has a pair of central ribbing elements extending from opposing longitudinal side walls and into the bottom wall and is designed to provide structural rigidity that resists warping and collapse, thus enabling the overwrapped tray to be handled, shipped, and displayed with minimal leakage while preserving the food product therein.
