    摘要: A clay mixing apparatus includes a mixing chamber, a rotor arranged within the mixing chamber, a drive unit arranged to rotate the rotor, an ejecting unit, a pressure reducing unit; and an exhaust flow path. The rotor includes a shaft rotated by the drive unit, an extruding member and a mixing member. The mixing member includes a plurality of arms and a plurality of blades arranged at tip ends of the arms. The exhaust opening is opposed, in a radial direction about the center axis, to a portion of the mixing member lying near the extruding member and/or a portion of the extruding member lying near the mixing member.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a novel extruder screw and method for extruding low melt viscosity polymers which form an anisotropic melt phase. In a preferred embodiment, the method and apparatus according to the present invention employ a high rate of rotational speed of the extruder screw in combination with a relatively low compression ratio and a high volume rate of flow through a compression section in order to effectively extrude the low melt viscosity liquid crystalline polymers. The particular design of the screw is dictated by the unique rheology of the polymers which are difficult to effectively move along the helix of the screw due, in part, to the extremely low viscosity. Each dimension and each relative size of the various sections of the screw must be carefully controlled in order to effectively extrude the unique material.

    摘要: Torque-splitting pinion gear for twin-screw machines comprising a first, direct-driven screw shaft, which has an output pinion meshing with a drive pinion provided on a coupling shaft, and also comprising a drive pinion provided on the second screw shaft, this pinion being axially offset towards the front relative to the output pinion of the first screw shaft and being drivable via an output pinion of the coupling shaft.In order to simplify such a gear and to optimize the driving of the two screw shafts the following features are used in combination:The output pinion of the coupling shaft meshes directly with the drive pinion of the second screw shaft; the coupling shaft is designed as a torsion bar; at least one of the pinions is rotatable and lockable in position relative to its shaft; the torsion resistance of the coupling shaft and the transmission ratio between first screw shaft, coupling shaft and second screw shaft are adjusted to the torsion resistance of the section of the first screw shaft lying between the output pinion of the first screw shaft and the drive pinion of the second screw shaft such that both screw shafts are always in proper phase relation with each other.

The apparatus includes a platform to support the dough to be processed, and further includes a platen having finger-like projections positioned to operatively come in contact with the dough. The motion of the platform and platen is in a predetermined timed relationship to cause the projections to engage and process the dough.
