    Abstract: A pillow template system having at least one pillow template which is preferably made of a transparent or semi-transparent material which can be overlaid onto a piece of fabric and can quickly and easily be aligned on the fabric such that any patterns on the fabric are aligned in a desirable way. The template is a frame having an inner edge and an outer edge, with the width of the frame between the inner and outer edges providing a preferable seam allowance. In a preferred embodiment the frame can be nested into a stack with one or more additional frames. The size and shape of the pillow can vary based upon a selected one of the nested frames.

    Abstract: A circle compass is provided. The circle compass includes a main body attachable to a router and an adjustable arm. The main body includes a central receiving aperture configured to receive a router bit or shaft therethrough. The adjustable arm is slidably attached to the main body and has a centering pin. The centering pin extends axially outward beyond a bottom side of the main body. The adjustable arm is slidable along an adjustment axis between a retracted position being associated with a smallest hole that can be formed and an extended position being associated with the largest hole that can be formed. The adjustable arm includes a clearance slot that at least partially aligns with the central receiving aperture of the main body through which the rotating portion of the router must extend to form a cut in the work piece.

    Abstract: Improvements in a transfer tool for cabinet holes to transfer a plurality of different size and shape holes from one surface to another. The openings for a sink cabinet typically has a hot and a cold water supply line in addition to a drain pipe with an outlet for a garbage disposal and the location of all the holes and sizes must be identified, and transferred to a cabinet. The transfer tool accommodates a starting corner from a variety of different sizes and shapes cabinets and surfaces. The transfer tool has locators for both the size and the center position of round, square and other style openings. The transfer tool has indicia that identifies the size and center position to allow an installer to simply re-mark the location. The transfer tool has versatility to operate around obstructions and other hole opening locations.

    Abstract: A combination square and tape measure comprises a square having first and second legs arranged perpendicular to each other and a tape measure including a housing encasing a flexible measuring tape. A mounting structure attaches the tape measure to one leg of the square. The mounting structure supports the tape measure for pivotable movement about the square; wherein the tape measure may be rotated about the square from at least a reclined position where a plane bisecting the housing of the tape measure is parallel to the plane of the square to a fully inclined upright position where the plane bisecting the tape measure is orthogonal the plane of the square. The mounting structure maintains the outer surface of the tape measure at an elevated spaced apart position relative to the plane of the square when the tape measure is maintained in the reclined position. The gap created by the spaced apart position provides room for the thick material utilized for the pouches of a tool belt to be disposed between the tape measure and the square. This allows either the tape measure or square to be retained properly with a tool belt while allowing both the tape measure and the square to hang from tool belt in an out of the way vertical orientation. The combination square and tape measure of the present invention further typically includes a plurality of marking instrument receiving indentations disposed along at least one edge of the second leg, wherein the marking instrument receiving indentations are disposed at specific measurement intervals.

    Abstract: A template device and method for guiding a marking implement in marking circular lines upon a workpiece and, interchangeably, guides a router in its cutting engagement in following the marked circular lines. Comprising a planar member having paralleled opposed major faces, a guide plate includes a plurality of evenly spaced guide holes between a plurality of unevenly spaced guide holes. All holes are the same diamter, being aligned in the central portion of the guide plate. All holes interchange as pivot, radii marking or cutting guide holes. Bearings with shafts including center holes receive bushing that firmly contain and center a variety of workpiece penetrating and surface adhering pivot anchors and a variety of marking implements. The bearing shafts are insertable, rotatable, and easily removable from any hole within the guide plate. Center holes in bearing shafts also serve to view and center circular lines centerpoints on the workpiece and a preview of a planned circular line, prior to actual marking or cutting. Once the planned line is marked on the workpiece, the marking assembly is removed from the hole in the guide plate and a template guide, as attached to a hand held electric powered router, is reinserted in the guide hole. The guide plate is rotated about the pivot thereby guiding the router in the cutting engagement with the workpiece.
