    摘要: A tile-cutting measurement device includes a telescoping elongated body. The telescoping elongated body has a first distal end and a second distal end. A tile marker holder is disposed on the second distal end substantially parallel to the elongated body. The tile marker holder holds a tile marker. The first distal end of the tile-cutting measurement device is placed against a vertical surface such as a wall. When the tile-cutting measurement device travels along the wall, the marker traces a line along a loose tile to be cut that corresponds to the contours of the vertical surface. After the tile is measured in this manner, it will be cut along the line. The cut side of the tile is then fitted along the vertical surface. Advantageously, the tile-cutting measurement device is a portable and easy-to-use tool that allows for precise tile cutting measurements.

The template is a frame having an inner edge and an outer edge, with the width of the frame between the inner and outer edges providing a preferable seam allowance. In a preferred embodiment the frame can be nested into a stack with one or more additional frames. The size and shape of the pillow can vary based upon a selected one of the nested frames.

    摘要: There is provided a tool assembly for transferring locations and dimensions of a pattern of holes from a first structure to a second structure. The tool assembly has a transfer plate with a transfer plate pattern of transfer plate holes that include a plurality of oversize holes and two transfer plate index holes. The transfer plate pattern is substantially identical to the pattern in the first structure. The tool assembly has one or more alignment elements installed in the plurality of oversize holes. Each alignment element has a through opening in a coaxial alignment with the oversize hole. The oversize hole allows formation of an alignment variation gap between an exterior of the alignment element and an inner wall of the oversize hole. The tool assembly has one or more holding elements coupled to the transfer plate, each with a central through opening in coaxial alignment with the oversize hole.
