摘要: An example system includes an analyzer to identify first activity in first neuro-response data, the first activity generated in response to exposure of a subject to a first stimulus prior to exposure to an advertisement or entertainment; identify second activity in second neuro-response data, the second activity generated in response to re-exposure of the subject to the first stimulus after to exposure to the advertisement or entertainment; calculate a differential event related potential measurement; and calculate a differential event related power spectral perturbation. The example system includes a resonance estimator to determine a subject resonance measurement to the advertisement or the entertainment based on the differential event related potential measurement and adjust at least one of the subject resonance measurement or the differential event related potential measurement based on the differential event related power spectral perturbation to generate an adjusted subject resonance measurement.

摘要: The clinical diagnosis and monitoring of patients with neurological conditions may be established through behavioral examinations, assessments or evaluations, or neuroimaging scans. The system and methods described herein diagnose the cognitive function of a subject by measuring the neural response of the subject to one or more naturalistic sensory stimuli. The system measures the subject's sensory evoked response to the naturalistic sensory stimuli by computing the statistical comparison between the subject's neural signal and either the raw stimulus signal or the stimulus' signal envelope. A latency value, or other signal feature, is extracted from the subject's sensory evoked response and a diagnosis of the subject's cognitive function is then made based on the identified latency value or other extracted signal feature.

摘要: Systems, devices, and methods described herein relate to multi-sensory presentation devices, including virtual reality (VR) devices, visual display devices, sound devices, haptic devices, and other forms of presentation devices, that are configured to present sensory elements, including visual and/or audio scenes, to a user. In some embodiments, one or more sensors including electroencephalography (EEG) sensors and a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensors, e.g., included in a brain-computer interface, can measure physiological data of a user to monitor a state of the user during the presentation of the visual and/or audio scenes. Such systems, devices, and methods can adapt one or more visual and/or audio scenes based on user physiological data, e.g., to control or manage the state of the user.

摘要: An evoked potential monitoring system including a control unit having stimulator circuitry and a probe assembly coupled to the control unit. The probe assembly includes a stimulus probe and a stimulator handpiece selectively coupled to the stimulus probe. The handpiece includes a handle, control circuitry, and a switch. The control circuitry is electrically coupled to the stimulator circuitry. The switch is electrically coupled to the control circuitry and extends to an exterior portion of the handle. In this regard, movement of the switch remotely controls the stimulator circuitry to continuously increment or decrement a stimulation energy level delivered to the stimulus probe over a series of discrete, incremental steps.

摘要: A method of predicting the long-term hedonic response to at least one predetermined sensory stimulus for an individual is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of (a) exposing the individual to the at least one sensory stimulus for a number of times over an initial time period of exposure according to an exposure pattern, (b) for each exposure, obtaining data indicative of the individual's hedonic response to the at least one sensory stimulus, (c) providing the data indicative of the individual's hedonic response and the exposure pattern to a machine learning algorithm, and (d) predicting the individual's long-term hedonic response to the sensory stimulus by the machine learning algorithm for a time point a predetermined prediction time period after the initial time period of exposure.

摘要: A system (SYS) and related method for imaging support. The system (SYS) comprises a stimulus delivery component (SDC) configured to cause a chemoreceptor stimulus in a patient residing in or at an imaging apparatus (IA). A response measuring component (RMC) measure a response of the patient to the stimulus, and a decision logic (DL) establishes, based on the measured response, a sedation status of the patient for the purpose of imaging the patient. An imaging operation can be modified, for instance, halted if the patient is no longer sufficiently sedated.
