    摘要: A locating/controlling structure for telescopic tube including an elliptic outer tube. A rotary button is rotatably disposed at one end of the outer tube. The rotary button is connected with an elliptic rod passing through the outer tube. An inner tube is telescopically nested in the outer tube. One end of the inner tube fitted in the outer tube is provided with a cock body formed with a central circular hole through which the elliptic rod is passed. The cock body has a stop section protruding from the inner tube. The stop section is formed with two radially opposite receptacles. A movable block is disposed in each of the receptacles. Each movable block has a contacting face complementary to the inner circumference of the outer tube. When the rotary button is turned to drive the elliptic rod to rotate about the axis thereof, due to the different diameters of the elliptic rod, the elliptic rod pushes the two movable blocks to radially outward move, whereby the contacting faces of the movable blocks press and abut against the inner circumference of the outer tube to locate the inner and outer tubes.

    摘要: A pipe mounting clamp assembly for mounting a pair of pipes to one another. The assembly also includes a bracket, and at least one pair of fasteners. The bracket has a base, and at least one saddle member attached to and extending from a surface of the base. In the preferred embodiment, the saddle member has at least two different radial support surfaces for supporting pipes of different diameters. The support surfaces are knurled or ridged to provide a good grip of a pipe supported thereon. In one embodiment of the invention, the bracket has two saddle members, two pairs of elongated slots, and two pairs of apertures in the base. One of the fasteners is secured to the base through the apertures and the other fastener is secured to the base through the elongated slots. The major portion of one fastener extends above the surface of the base from which the saddle member extends, and a major portion of the other fastener extends from a surface of the base opposite the surface supporting the saddle members.

    摘要: A bus bar panel system utilizes a quick acting and simplified fastening system for making connections. The bus bar is preferably pre-perforated along the edges, although holes may be drilled at the time of fastening. The fastening system uses a stud having threads on one end for receiving the usual washers and nut. On the other end, usually away from the installer, the stud is provided with flats which engage an open slot or yoke on a keeper clip. The clip has a gauge flange to engage the edge of the bar or clamp through which the stud extends. The transverse dimensions of the open slot are related to the flats and the length of the slot to the distance of the perforations from the edge of the bar. The clip also includes a spring section which grabs the end of the stud holding the clip in place so that the installer has both hands free to secure the nut and washers. The clip, while providing the requisite area and stiffness for a good electrical connection, occupies very little space axially of the stud to fit between bars of a common phase. A wide variety of connections may be made more easily with fewer parts less apt to be dropped in locations which would normally require partial disassembly of the panel system or housing.

    摘要: A coupler clamping assembly (10) is provided for releasably connecting a mobile support stand (52) with a patient transport device such as a gurney (54), in order to allow patient transfer with the support stand while eliminating the need for extra transport personnel. The clamp (10) preferably includes a pair of opposed, laterally spaced apart jaws (20, 22) interconnected by a central bight section (24). A connector assembly including a pair of oppositely extending elongated connection elements (14, 16) is supported on the body for relative pivotal movement, and the connection elements are received for rotation in a tubular section (66) conventionally provided as a part of the gurney (54). A clamping screw (18) is threaded for receipt in a threaded opening through one of the jaws (20) and cooperates with the opposed jaw (22) for securely clamping the upright standard (60) of the pole unit (52) within the clamping assembly (10). An arm assembly is also provided for permitting releasable interconnection between a mobile support stand and any type of patient transfer device. The arm may be fixed to the stand or transfer device, and includes an attachment clamp or coupling for releasably interconnecting the stand and transfer device.
