摘要: Methods and systems to implement a miniature long range imaging engine with auto-focus, auto-zoom, and auto-illumination are disclosed herein. An example method includes detecting, by a microprocessor, a presence of an aim light pattern within the FOV; determining, by the microprocessor and in response to the detecting, a target distance of an object in the FOV based on a position of the aim light pattern in the FOV, the target distance being a distance from the imaging engine to the object; causing, by the microprocessor, a variable focus optical element to focus on the object based on the target distance; and responsive to making a first determination, by the microprocessor, selecting, based on the target distance, one of a plurality of zoom operation modes.

摘要: The present invention discloses a multiple camera sensor system and a method for any application and for a large number of different fields. The present invention is solving certain problems related to existing camera technology issues by introducing the possibility of getting several different camera inputs from the same source or moving shots/images without physically moving any cameras. It will minimize the physical presence of existing camera technology, size, weight and design and also to large extent avoid physical laws like gravity, vibrations, acceleration, retardation and speed. This may be implemented by means of a software virtually moving camera using multiple cameras sensors mounted consecutively along some attachment solution. This attachment solution may include e.g. tape or strips. The invention can be utilized in areas like industry and production support, medical appliances, AV production, Video Conferencing, Broadcast, Surveillance and Security among others.

The phased metalens is configured to adjust a focus plane of an image in a field of view of the camera in response to changes in an operating temperature of the camera. The phased metalens adjusts the focus plane for multiple frequencies or wavelengths light such that all light wave-fronts exiting the phased metalens arrive at the imager at a same time.

摘要: Electronic device and camera module thereof are provided. Camera module includes lens, driving member, and photosensitive chip which is Bayer array sensor and includes pixel areas in rows and columns, and each pixel area includes four sub pixel areas. Lens is connected to driving member that can drive lens to switch between first position and second position relative to photosensitive chip. If lens is at first position, light incident from lens forms first image in first sub pixel area of photosensitive chip. If lens is at second position, light incident from lens forms second image in second sub pixel area of photosensitive chip. Content of first image is same as that of second image. Equivalent sub pixel areas of first and second sub pixel areas in one pixel area are any two sub pixel areas in the pixel area.

摘要: Digital camera comprising an upright Wide camera configured to provide a Wide image with a Wide image resolution and a folded Tele camera configured to provide a Tele image with a Tele image resolution higher than the Wide image resolution, the Wide and Tele cameras having respective Wide and Tele fields of view FOVW and FOVT and respective Wide and Tele image sensors, the digital camera further comprising a rotating OPFE operative to provide a folded optical path between an object or scene and the Tele image sensor, wherein rotation of the OPFE moves FOVT relative to FOVW. In some embodiments, a rectangular FOVT is orthogonal to a rectangular FOVW. When included in a host device having a user interface that displays FOVT within FOVW, the user interface may be used to position FOVT relative to FOVW, scan FOVT across FOVW and acquire, store and display separate Wide and Tele images, composite Wide plus Tele images and stitched Tele images. The positioning of FOVT within FOVW, can be done automatically (autonomously) by continuously tracking an object of interest.

摘要: A control apparatus includes an angle control unit configured to change a tilt angle by tilting an imaging sensor, a first determination unit configured to determine a first area from among a plurality of areas in an image, an evaluation value acquisition unit configured to acquire a contrast evaluation value of each of second areas excluding the first area among the plurality of areas by changing the tilt angle through the angle control unit, and a second determination unit configured to determine the tilt angle for each area based on the contrast evaluation value acquired by the evaluation value acquisition unit, and determining the tilt angle of the image sensor based on the tilt angle determined for each area. The angle control unit tilts the image sensor so as to obtain the tilt angle determined by the second determination unit.

摘要: A method for switching between a first lens and a second lens in an electronic device includes displaying, by the electronic device, a first frame showing a field of view (FOV) of the first lens; detecting, by the electronic device, an event that causes the electronic device to transition from displaying the first frame to displaying a second frame showing a FOV of the second lens; generating, by the electronic device and based on the detecting the event, at least one intermediate frame for transitioning from the first frame to the second frame; and switching, by the electronic device and based on the detecting the event, from the first lens to the second lens and displaying the second frame, wherein the at least one intermediate frame is displayed after the displaying the first frame and before the displaying the second frame while the switching is performed.
