摘要： A rotary gas control apparatus has a rotary handle adapted for rotation from a gas-off position via an ignition stand-by position into a gas-on position. By the motion of the rotary handle, a piezo-electric ignition device with an impact mechanism is energized. In the ignition stand-by position, the rotary handle may be depressed, whereby a safety valve is opened and gas is allowed to flow to a pilot burner. In the depressed position, the handle is rotatable from the ignition stand-by position through a limited angle to an ingition position, whereby the ignition device is triggered and the pilot burner is lit thereby. A magnet thermoelectrically energized by the pilot burner holds the safety valve open. The handle is returned to the ignition stand-by position, moved outward and can now be rotated to the gas-on position, in which a main gas valve opens to permit the flow of gas to a main burner.

摘要： A cock apparatus of automatic ignition type for use in a gas appliance including an ignition handle, a valve member disposed within the cock body for rotation with the turning movement of the ignition handle thereby supplying gas to a main burner and a pilot burner, and a spark generator generating sparks for igniting the pilot burner in response to the turning movement of the ignition handle. The cock comprises a rotary shaft capable of free rotation and restrained rotation relative to the valve member and normally urged by a spring to rotate in the closing direction of the valve member, and a heat sensor for sensing ignition and non-ignition of the main burner, the heat sensor being operatively connected to the rotary shaft so that the rotary shaft and the valve member can be automatically rotated in the valve closing direction by the force of the spring in the event of ignition failure of gas or accidental extinction of gas flame burning on the main burner.

摘要： Control means having a first passage means for interconnecting a source of fuel to a pilot burner means to produce a small standby flame at the pilot burner means, the control means having second passage means for additionally interconnecting the source of fuel to the pilot burner means to produce a large heater flame at the pilot burner means whereby no fuel is adapted to be interconnected to a main burner means when only a small standby flame exists at the pilot burner means and the source of fuel is adapted to be interconnected to the main burner means when the large heater flame exists at the pilot burner means. A single adjusting means is provided in the passage means for adjusting the fuel flow rate therethrough by substantially infinitely adjusting the flow rate through one of the passages and adjusting the flow rate through the other passage means in substantially a stepped manner.
