摘要: A dryer includes a rotating drum; a lifter positionable on an inner surface of the rotating drum; an energy harvester positionable inside the lifter so that while the energy harvester is positioned inside the lifter, the energy harvester generates electric power as the rotating drum rotates while the lifter is positioned on the inner surface of the rotating drum; a humidity sensor positionable inside the lifter so that while the humidity sensor is positioned inside the lifter, the humidity sensor receives the electric power generated by the energy harvester and senses humidity; a circuit board positionable inside the lifter and on which the humidity sensor is disposed; and an air passage formed through the lifter so as to allow air inside the rotating drum to pass through the lifter. The humidity sensor senses the humidity according to air passing through the air passage of the lifter.

摘要: A laundry appliance includes a drum that defines a processing space for drying articles. A blower delivers process air through an airflow path that includes the processing space. A heater is in thermal communication with the airflow path and delivers thermal energy to the process air. A controller is in communication with the drum, the blower, and the heater. During operation of a laundry cycle, the heater, the drum, and the blower cooperatively operate a particulate removal phase that maintains the articles in a damp state for a predetermined period of time. The damp state of the articles prevents accumulation of an electrostatic charge within the articles and a surface of the drum and allows the process air to separate particulate matter from the articles. After completion of the particulate removal phase, the heater operates at a conventional state that operates to dry the articles.

摘要: In a method for operating a washing machine with a drum, a drive motor for the drum, a power supply for the drive motor and a washing machine control monitoring and detecting the motor current by means of the power supply, the following steps are performed where the motor current is constantly monitored while the drum rotates for at least three full revolutions. A full revolution of the drum is divided into three rotation sections of equal size, and the motor current is monitored and recorded for each of the rotation sections. An envelope curve of this motor current is calculated, and therefrom the standard deviation is calculated. The standard deviation is divided by the mean value of the envelope curve to determine the coefficient of variation for each rotation section. By comparing the determined coefficient of variation for each rotation section with stored values for the coefficient of variation, the behaviour of the laundry items is determined as to whether laundry items slide down the drum inner wall, fall from the drum inner wall or rotate together with the drum. From this behaviour, parameters are determined for a further operation of the washing machine with regard to the treatment of the laundry items.

摘要: A method of controlling a laundry treatment apparatus includes measuring a temperature of clothes, calculating a temperature amplitude according to the measured temperature of the clothes, classifying a temperature amplitude according to a reference value to classify the clothes into dry and wet clothes, calculating a first ratio as a ratio of the dry and wet clothes of the clothes, calculating a second ratio for normalizing the measured temperature, and determining a drying level of the clothes using the first ratio and the second ratio.

摘要: A method for controlling a laundry treating apparatus includes a dry cloth sensing operation of sensing an amount of clothes put into a drum, a wet cloth sensing operation of sensing a washing load based on a moisture content of the clothes by supplying water into a tub, and a cloth material sensing operation of sensing a cloth material of the clothes put into the drum based on a rpm gap and a motor-constrained state where rotation of a motor is restricted. The rpm gap is a difference between a target rpm of a rotator in the drum and an actual rpm of the rotator.
