摘要： In some embodiments, a sprinkler head is disclosed. The sprinkler head can include a spray stem comprising an upper stem rotatably coupled to a base stem; a spray nozzle coupled to a distal end of the upper stem; and a connector for removably coupling the sprinkler head to a pressurized liquid source. An interior cavity of the base stem can be in fluid communication with an interior cavity of the connector, and the upper stem can rotate between an operational position where an upper stem interior cavity is in fluid communication with the base stem interior cavity and a maintenance position where the upper stem interior cavity is not in fluid communication with the base stem interior cavity. A pop-up sprinkler head including the spray stem described herein is also described.

摘要： A motion activated water repellant sprinkler device for repelling animals that can be remotely controlled is provided. When the device is in on mode, the user can remotely adjust the sensitivity setting of the motion detector, set a time period for which the sprinkler will continually spray, and turn off the device so that the user can approach the device without being sprayed. The ability to set a particular time period for continuous sprinkler activity allows the motion activated water repellant sprinkler device to be used not only as an animal deterring device but also as a watering device for grass and other plants. Remote control by IR signals and RF signals is disclosed.

摘要： A sprinkler includes a compartment that surrounds its riser portion in an offset or asymmetrical configuration. More specifically, the distance of the compartments walls from those of the riser vary (i.e., increase or decrease) at different locations surrounding the riser. Put another way, the riser is closer to one side of the compartment than other sides of the compartment. This non-concentric configuration allows larger components to fit inside the compartment than would otherwise fit if the riser was symmetrically surrounded by the compartment.
