摘要: Disclosed is a solid/liquid separation apparatus including an extruder press combined with a solid/fluid separation module for separating fluid from a mass of solids compressed by the extruder at elevated pressures. The extruder includes two or more extruder screws with flighting intercalated at least along a part of the extruder barrel. The separation module forms a continuation of the barrel, receives the pressurized mass and at least a portion of the twin screws, and includes a filter pack consisting of a filter plate and a backer plate. The filter plate has a throughgoing filter slot extending away from a core opening and into the filter plate for directing fluid away from the core opening. The backer plate has a core opening shaped and sized equal to the barrel and defines a passage for guiding fluid collected in the filter slot to an exterior of the filter pack.

摘要: A filtration apparatus which has a filtration chamber, and the filtration chamber has a fluid inlet, a filtered fluid outlet, a residue outlet, and a filtering element. The filtering element is situated between the fluid inlet and the filtered fluid outlet. The apparatus also includes a wiping member which is situated within, or about, the filtering element and which is adapted to wipe the surface of the filtering element. The wiping member also wipes any residue toward the residue outlet when the apparatus is in use. The filtration apparatus includes a first pumping configured to create a flow toward the filtering chamber, and a second pumping situated within the filtering chamber and configured to induce a counter-flow back toward the first pumping.

摘要: The apparatus for removing bodies (41) from a liquid in which the apparatus includes a first container (1) which is provided with an inlet (13) through which the liquid is supplied to the first container, and a second container (2) which, in the lower region (35) of the apparatus, surrounds the first container. Between the wall (17) of the first container and the wall (27) of the second container, there is formed a space (26). The wall of the first container is provided with passages (15) through which liquid passes from the first container to the space (26). The passages (15) are dimensioned so as to separate bodies (41) transported by the liquid towards the inside of the wall (17) of the first container. A helix (3) is disposed in a path (7) which is formed by the wall of the first container and is oriented at an angle (&agr;) to the horizontal plane. On rotation of the helix, the separated bodies are displaced in the longitudinal direction of the path to a discharge aperture (14) in the upper region (11) of the first container (1).

摘要: This invention is concerned with an anti-pollution device, and particularly a filter for removing deleterious particles and matter from liquids. The invention herein comprises a system and mechanism whereby liquid is caused to flow into a tank. The tank is so arranged that it has an upper area where the floating particles will rise and flow off into a designated receptacle. The heavy particles are caused to flow into a lower area in the tank and the flow of the liquid is slowed down by passing through helicoid ribs so that the heavy particles will have time to fall into a lower area and then into a chute in the bottom of the tank. Then particles are fed by a worm mechanism into a container whereby when enough of the particles have been deposited, the slurry of the particles will be caused to create a pressure so as to open up a valve. They then exit into a designated receptacle. The liquid itself flows into a chamber within the tank and through filtering means removing substantially all of the deleterious particles therefrom and out into a designated receptacle. The filtering means comprise two separate species. In one embodiment the liquid is slowed down by being fed into helicoid ribs around the inner chamber and is further slowed down by fins attached to the bottom of the chamber and then caused to flow upwardly into the chamber and out through an opening. In another species the liquid flows through diatomaceous earth into filter screen tubes and then passes into an upper chamber and out through an opening.

摘要: A method of separating solids from a slurry or suspension is disclosed. The method includes: providing a slurry or suspension containing solids and liquid to an input port of a first side of a filter, the filter providing a filtering size between 2 microns and 70 microns; providing a liquid discharge port on a second side of the filter which receives the liquid that passes through the filter; and separating the solids from the liquid by pressing the solids into a pressure regulating solids discharge port on the first side of the filter, thereby compacting solids on the first side of the filter, forcing at least some of the liquid of the slurry or suspension through the first side of the filter to the second side of the filter causing pressure regulated solids to be discharged through a pressure regulating solids discharge port into a pressurized chamber.

The at least one hole and a feed screw are provided inside said rotating container in continuation of said screw press. At least one lift paddle is provided inside said rotating container. A first part of the lift paddle is arranged along an inner surface of a side wall of said rotating container. A second part of said lift paddle is in contact with a part of the feed screw. A new method for separating slurry uses a separator.
