    Abstract: The disclosure discloses methods and systems for managing one or more incomplete jobs in a multi-function device. The method includes checking a stored profile of a user for a previously stored incomplete job when the user logs in into the multi-function device or a networked multi-function device. Based on the check, it is further checked if the previous incomplete job is compatible with configuration of the logged-in multi-function device. Then, based on the check, a user interface is presented with the previous incomplete job along with one or more options related to the previous incomplete job. The user is allowed to select an option of the one or more options, the one or more options allow the user to take an action related to the previous incomplete job. Finally, the previous incomplete job is executed in accordance with the selection.

    Abstract: A print device has a port, a print engine, a processing device and a memory. The print device is configured to detect that a portable memory device has become communicatively connected to the port, retrieve a digital document file to be printed and a print instruction from the portable memory device, determine that a first print job is being performed in the print device, suspend the first print job, determine a second print job derived from the digital document file, and automatically perform the second print job based on the print instruction. The print device further detects that the second print job has been completed or interrupted, and automatically resumes the first print job. If the second print job is directed to the same output tray as the first print job, the print device may also print a separator sheet to the output tray before performing the second print job.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a system, an apparatus, and a method for automatically printing printable files stored inside an external storage device without any intervention of a user. The apparatus comprises a peripheral port for communicating with the external storage device and a control section comprising a memory for storing computer readable program code and a processor for executing the code to control the apparatus. The computer readable program code being configured to cause the apparatus to execute a process for determining availability of the optional instruction in the external storage device and printing at least one copy of the fetched printable files based on the determined availability of the optional instruction.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for localizing a user interface of a multi-function device, based on a personal storage device of a user connected to the multi-function device, wherein the multi-function device presents a user interface in a pre-defined language. The method includes receiving the personal storage device by the multi-function device, the personal storage device includes a pre-defined setting, the pre-defined setting indicates a local language of the user. Upon receiving, the personal storage device is detected by the multi-function device. The local language of the user is detected based on the pre-defined setting stored in the personal storage device of the user. Upon detection, the pre-defined language of the user interface is automatically changed to the local language of the user.

    Abstract: System(s) and method(s) for transferring print jobs from a multi-function device to an external storage device are described. The method includes detecting the external storage device by the multi-function device when the external storage device is connected to the multi-function device. The method further includes determining if there is a print job of a user in a print queue of the multi-function device and displaying an option to transfer the print job to the external storage device based on the determination. The method includes receiving an input from the user, the input is indicative of a selection of the option to transfer the print job. Also, the method includes automatically creating a pre-defined folder in the external storage device based on receiving the input and transferring the print job of the user from the print queue of the multi-function device to the pre-defined folder of the external storage device.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are configured to print and reuse customized sample sets while printing documents. They include receiving instructions to retrieve an electronic document and processing the electronic document in a sample print mode. The electronic document are arranged in a plurality of page with each page containing readable information. They further include identifying a subset of pages of the electronic document to print in a first phase of the sample print mode and printing the subset of pages on a physical readable media in the sample print mode. They additionally include displaying a message on a user interface after completion of the first phase of the sample print mode and printing remaining pages of the electronic document on a physical readable media in response to user input based on the displayed message.
