Abstract:
A calibrating technique is provided for the position/attitude or only the position of an arm tip of a robot, such as an articulated type of robot. At plural positions, respective n pieces of errors (Δφn, wherein n is a positive integer larger than a value obtained by dividing the number of unknown parameters by 6 or 3) are calculated. Each error is a difference between a position of the arm tip measured and a position commanded by control. An inter-error difference (Δεy (1≦y≦n−1)) between a reference error (Δφm (1≦m≦n)) arbitrarily selected from the n-piece errors (Δφn) and other errors (Δφx (x≦n, except for m)) other than the reference error (Δφm) is calculated. A parameter, which is a basis for calculating the inter-error differences (Δεy), is made to converge until a sum of absolute values of the inter-error differences (Δεy) becomes within a given threshold (ε0 (ε0>0)).
Abstract:
A detection portion for detecting a first potential difference between hand and foot by applying a current across the hand and the foot of a subject through both of a hand electrode and a foot electrode and detecting a second potential difference between both hands or between both feet by applying a current across both hands or across both feet of the subject through any one of the hand electrodes and the foot electrodes, a first body composition calculation portion for calculating a first whole-body composition by using whole-body impedance based on a result of detection of the first potential difference, a correction portion for correcting two-limb impedance based on a result of detection of the second potential difference, and a second body composition calculation portion for calculating a second whole-body composition by using the corrected two-limb impedance are included.
Abstract:
A plotter repeats a process of standing by until the next line synchronization timing after data transfer for one line and transferring DMAC control information requesting data transfer for one line to an MCH for each line synchronization timing whereby image data for one page is transferred. Therefore, data transfer from the MCH to the plotter is processed by continuous posted requests, so that float with respect to a line period can be made longer without transmitting a plurality of data transfer requests from the plotter to the MCH in the split method. Thus, a high data transfer performance can be realized with an inexpensive circuit because the cost for mounting a buffer memory or the like on the circuit is not needed.
Abstract:
The subject invention provides a powder inhaler enabling the user to complete powder drug inhalation with fewer steps, for improved user convenience.A powder inhaler of the present invention comprises: a housing 1A having an admission port 2f on one end; a supplier having a drug-discharging hole, provided inside the housing 1A with a capacity sufficient to contain plural doses of a fine powder drug; a drug carrier having a measurement concave portion for receiving a single dose of a drug from the drug-discharging hole, the drug carrier being supported inside the housing 1A while being movable between a drug-receiving position for allowing drug supply from the drug-discharging hole to the measurement concave portion, and a drug-inhalation position for allowing drug inhalation from the measurement concave portion through the admission port; a cover cap C2 pivotably mounted to the housing 1A; and a vibrating means 60 brought into operation by pivoting the cover cap C2 so as to vibrate the supplier.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus that reflects edited content in a process flow when the process flow has been created based on a template and the template forming the basis of the process flow has been edited. To accomplish this, the information processing apparatus, which executes processes in accordance with process flows, creates a process flow that describes the process content of tasks, based on a process flow template. At this time, the information processing apparatus edits the template used by the process flow when editing of the template is instructed, and changes a portion corresponding to the template of the created process flow into the changed content of the edited template.
Abstract:
A powder inhalator comprising: a housing; a supply member for holding a powdered drug for a large number of doses and having a drug discharge aperture at its bottom surface; a drug carrier, to which the powdered drug is supplied from the drug discharge aperture of the supply member, and having on its upper surface a measuring recess that has a volume equivalent to one dose of the drug; and an operation member disposed so as to move freely back and forth, and operate the drug carrier; the drug carrier moving in contact with the bottom surface of the supply member to carry the powdered drug loaded into the measuring recess from the position of the drug discharge aperture to an air inhalation channel, wherein the drug carrier is disposed slidably so that the measuring recess moves in a circular manner by sliding the drug carrier.
Abstract:
A first thermistor 8 and a second thermistor 9 are arranged forwardly and rearwardly of a thermopile sensor 5. A thermopile chip 55 is arranged and interposed between the first thermistor 8 and an integrated thermistor 57. A sensor cover is mounted in contact with front and side portions of a can portion 59 of a thermopile casing 56. A temperature or a radiant quantity of infrared rays on the front portion of the can portion is estimated from a temperature change of the integrated thermistor per second.
Abstract:
Temperature states of a clinical thermometer body and an environment are estimated by temperatures measured by a first temperature sensor integrally formed together with an infrared sensor arranged to the distal end of a probe and a second temperature sensor arranged on the bottom side of a probe holder, and processes suitable for the respective temperature states are performed. An estimation error or the reliability of an estimation value is calculated by the temperatures to notify a user of the estimation error or the reliability by an LCD or the like.
