    Abstract: A mobile electronic device may be configured to identify multiple beams is provided. The mobile electronic device includes a first beam and a second beam for communication with at least one base station, when the first beam and the second beam correspond to the same first direction, identify a third beam which corresponds to a direction differing from the first direction and has a strength of a signal received from the at least one base station, the strength being equal to or greater than a designated value, when the identification of the third beam fails, apply, to the first beam and the second beam, a power back-off for multiple beams corresponding to the same direction, so as to perform communication with the at least one base station, and when the third beam is identified, change the second beam to the third beam and perform communication with the at least one base station without applying the power back-off for multiple beams corresponding to the same direction and by using the first beam and the third beam.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an antenna module including a first printed circuit board (PCB) including a first surface facing a first direction and a second surface facing a second direction opposite the first direction, a second PCB including a third surface facing the first direction spaced from the first PCB and a fourth surface facing the second direction spaced from the first surface, a radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) disposed on the first surface, and a connection member comprising a conductive material connecting the first surface to the fourth surface. The at least one first conductive pattern is connected to the RFIC. The at least one third conductive pattern is connected to the RFIC via the connection member.     Abstract: An electronic device and method of preventing deterioration by an operation of an antenna are provided. The electronic device includes a display configured to be folded and unfolded, and provide content, a sensor configured to detect a state change of the display, an antenna configured to transmit and receive an electromagnetic wave, and at least one processor electrically connected to the display, the sensor, and the antenna, in which the at least one processor is configured to detect a state change of the display by using the sensor, identify one or more operating electronic circuitry among electronic circuitries in the electronic device, determine an electronic circuitry in which deterioration is caused by an operation of the antenna among the one or more operating electronic circuitry, based on the state change of the display, and deactivate a certain beam among beams generated by the antenna to reduce deterioration of the determined electronic circuitry.

    Abstract: An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a housing and an antenna module disposed on one surface of the housing, wherein the antenna module may include a printed circuit board including a first layer facing the one surface of the housing, a second layer facing the first layer, and at least one ground layer disposed between the first layer and the second layer, a first antenna array disposed on the first layer, a second antenna array disposed on the second layer and at least partially overlapping the first antenna array when viewed from the one surface of the housing, and a communication circuit (radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC)) electrically connected to the first antenna array and the second antenna array and feeding the first antenna array and the second antenna array, wherein the communication circuit may be configured to receive a first signal from an external device via at least one of the first antenna array or the second antenna array, change a phase of at least a portion of the first antenna array and the second antenna array based on the first signal, and transmit/receive a second signal in a direction of a beam formed by the changed phase.
