    Abstract: According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device may include a housing, a conductive pattern that is arranged within the housing and is formed to generate a magnetic field, a plate that forms at least a part of a first surface of the housing and includes a material that at least partially transmits the magnetic field generated by the conductive pattern, and a communication circuit that is configured to transmit at least one transaction information to an external device by using the conductive pattern. The conductive pattern may include a first end that is electrically connected to the communication circuit, a second end that is electrically connected to the communication circuit, and a coil that is connected between the first end and the second end and includes a plurality of turns that are substantially parallel to a surface of the plate.

    Abstract: In one embodiments, an electronic device including an antenna with a ring-type structure is disclosed. The electronic device includes a metal bracket and the antenna. The antenna includes a first metal ring surrounding the metal bracket, where the first metal ring has at least two sections separated by at least one gap. At least one section may operate as a radiator through radio frequency (RF) feeding at least at one portion thereof. A second metal ring may be electrically connected, at least at one point thereof, to a ground of the electronic device or to the first metal ring. At least one section of the first metal ring may operate as a monopole antenna, as a PIFA antenna, or as a loop antenna, via suitable feeding.
