Abstract: A method for managing persistent group information of an electronic device is provided. The electronic device is a group member of a persistent group. The method includes when the persistent group information is deleted in response to a specific event, the electronic device transmits, to the group members, a message requesting the deletion of the persistent group information stored by group members of the persistent group, thus making it possible to delete the persistent group information and enabling synchronization to proceed.

Abstract: An electronic device according to various example embodiments includes: at least one wireless communication module comprising wireless communication circuitry configured to support a first communication protocol and a second communication protocol, at least one processor operatively connected to the wireless communication module, and a memory electrically connected to the processor and configured to store instructions executable by the processor. When the instructions are executed by the processor, the processor may, using the wireless communication module, set a schedule for a first data link that uses a first frequency band as the second communication protocol with a first external electronic device, set a schedule for a second data link that uses a second frequency band as the second communication protocol with a second external electronic device, and change the second data link to a third data link that uses a third frequency band and perform communication with the second external electronic device, based on the third frequency band being available due to a termination of the first data link.

Abstract: A method and a device is provided for switching a source device through sharing of Bluetooth connection information, the device comprising a communication module, a memory, and a processor operatively connected to the communication module or the memory, wherein the processor is configured to connect with an external device via the communication module through a first network, broadcast device information of the external device through a second network, transmit connection information associated with the first external device to an external electronic device responsive to a connection request received from the external device for a connection with the first external device through the second network, release a connection between the first network and the first external device, without processing a reconnection message received from the external device.
