Abstract: An electronic device, a base station, and a method for managing a shared spectrum. The electronic device includes a processor configured to cause the electronic device to obtain coexistence measurement reports (CMRs) from the plurality of BSs; identify interference relationships among the plurality of BSs based on the CMRs; assign a set of BSs to one or more basic allocation units (BAUs) in a plurality of BAUs based on the interference relationships; and transmit a spectrum access grant (SAG) to the set of BSs, wherein the SAG includes BAU assignments for the set of BSs. Each BAU in the plurality of BAUs is a time/frequency unit and the set of BSs includes a primary BS and a secondary BS. The secondary BS can transmit in the one or more BAUs when a transmission of the secondary BS does not interfere with a transmission of the primary BS.

Abstract: An apparatus is configured to perform a method for self-interference cancelation (SIC). In one embodiment, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a transceiver, a first number of transmit antennas, a second number of receive antennas, an equalizer, and SIC circuitry. The equalizer is configured to, for at least one receive antenna of the second number of receive antennas: receive feedback signals, wherein a feedback signal is received from each of the first number of transmit antennas; and calculate, based on the feedback signals and an equalizer function, a self-interference (SI) estimate for the at least one receive antenna. The SIC circuitry is configured to, for the at least one receive antenna of the second number of receive antennas, subtract the SI estimate from a signal received at the at least one of the second number of receive antennas to obtain a residual signal.

Abstract: An embodiment includes a station (STA) in a wireless network, the STA comprising a memory and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor configured to receive, from an origin STA, a first discovery frame that includes one or more attributes intended for proxied transmission, generate a second discovery frame that includes the one or more attributes intended for proxied transmission based on the first discovery frame and appends additional information, wherein the additional information includes an indication that the one or more attributes are associated with the origin STA and that the one or more attributes are being transmitted by proxy transmission, and wherein the additional information includes address information for the origin STA, and transmit, to one or more other STAs, the second discovery frame.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for setup, management and use of relay devices in a wireless local area network. A relay device includes a transceiver and a processor operably connected to the transceiver. The transceiver is configured to form a first link with a wireless access point (AP) and a second link with a wireless non-AP station (STA). The processor is configured to determine to perform a relay control action comprising (i) setup of a relay connection by which the relay device will relay traffic between the AP and the STA over the first and second links, (ii) teardown of the relay connection, or (iii) advertisement of a capability of the relay device to support the relay connection, and to generate a control message including an indication of the relay control action. The transceiver is further configured to transmit, to at least one of the AP and the STA, the generated control message.

Abstract: A method includes transmitting, by a transceiver configured to concurrently transmit over multiple transmit paths and receive over multiple receive paths, one or more signals, the transceiver comprising multiple transmit antennas and multiple receive antennas. The method also includes, for at least one of the multiple receive antennas: receiving one or more feedback signals from one or more power amplifiers associated with the one or more transmitted signals; calculating one or more estimated self-interference (SI) signals based on the one or more feedback signals using an equalizer array comprising a predetermined channel model; and subtracting the one or more estimated SI signals from one or more receive signals received at the at least one receive antenna to obtain one or more residual signals.

Abstract: A base station configured to perform a method for self-interference cancelation (SIC) is provided. Abstract: A method of an electronic device for a connection management is provided. The method comprises: establishing a communication link with an access point (AP); receiving a triggering indication based on link information measured by the electronic device; determining a quality of the communication link between the electronic device and the AP based on the received triggering indication; comparing, based on the determined quality of the communication link, at least two Q values fetched from a Q table that is determined according to context in which in the electronic device is being used; setting a quantized aggressive index (QAI) value based on the compared at least two Q values; and generating a disconnection command based on the QAI value, wherein the disconnection command is a physical disconnection command or a virtual disconnection command of the communication link between the electronic device and the AP.
