An electronic device is provided and includes a communication module, a sensor module, a memory, and a processor configured for acquiring first movement information regarding a first region of a route on which the electronic device moves by using the communication module, if the first movement information satisfies a first condition for route information of the movement route information, deactivating the communication module, and acquiring second movement information regarding a second region of the route by using the sensor module, and if the first movement information satisfies a second condition for the route information of the movement route information, acquiring the second movement information by using the communication module, and providing current movement route information of the electronic device by using the second movement information.

A fault diagnosis system, method, and apparatus are provided that diagnose a broken appliance and repair the broken appliance using voice communication. The method includes generating monitoring information, based on a current state of the appliance; generating first mix data by mixing the monitoring information and sound data; outputting the first mix data to a mobile communication terminal; receiving second mix data from the mobile communication terminal, when the monitoring information indicates that the appliance has a fault; extracting recovery data from the second mix data; and repairing the fault of the appliance using the recovery data.

A method for embedding digital information into an audio signal, is provided. The method includes dividing the digital information into low-priority data and high-priority data; dividing the audio signal into first and second signal parts; embedding at least one echo signal into the first signal part; embedding a communication signal modulated with low-priority data, which has a spectrum according to psychoacoustic analysis of the second signal part, into the second signal part; and combining the embedded first and second signal parts.
