Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes at least one communication processor configured to support a first network communication and a second network communication, and a memory configured to store information about at least one first band supporting dual connectivity for the first network communication and the second network communication among a plurality of bands which correspond to the first network communication supported by the electronic device, and the at least one communication processor may be configured to camp on a first cell supporting the first network communication, after camping on the first cell, perform a measurement on at least some of the at least one first band among the plurality of bands in an idle state, and perform a cell reselection based on a measurement result for the at least some of the at least one first band. Herein, a measurement on a remaining band except for the at least one first band among the plurality of bands may not be performed.

Abstract: Disclosed in various embodiments of the present invention are: an apparatus using a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index table in a wireless communication system; an MCS index table determination method therefor; and an apparatus therefor. According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises at least one communication circuit for supporting wireless communication with a base station, a memory for storing at least two MCS index tables, and a processor operatively connected to the communication circuit and the memory, wherein the processor receives downlink control information (DCI), which includes a retransmission MCS index so as to be retransmitted from the base station, by using the communication circuit when a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) fails, compares same with the retransmission MCS index stored in the memory, on the basis of the retransmission MCS index of the downlink control information, determines a mismatch between the MCS index tables on the basis of determining that the retransmission MCX indexes differ, and restores the MCS index table on the basis of determining the mismatch between the MCS index tables. Additional various embodiments are possible.

Abstract: An electronic device may include a first subscriber identity module (SIM), a second SIM, a communication circuit, a memory, and a processor. According to an embodiment, the memory may store instructions that when executed, cause the processor to set the first SIM to a SIM associated with a data service, and the second SIM to a SIM irrelevant to the data service to determine first capability information associated with a function supported by the electronic device in connection with the first SIM, and second capability information associated with a function supported by the electronic device in connection with the second SIM. The instructions may also cause the processor to transmit the first and second capability information to the network, and to receive allocation of a resource for wireless communication corresponding to each of the first and second SIM from the network, based on the first and the second capability information.
