Abstract:
A refrigerator and a method for controlling the same are disclosed, which may automatically open or close a door and a method for controlling the same. The refrigerator may automatically open or close door(s) of the refrigerator by controlling a motor. After lapse of a predetermined time after the door of the refrigerator has been closed, the refrigerator operates a motor with an output used when the door is not opened, such that the refrigerator may remove noise while simultaneously maintaining a constant door opening time when the door is opened. In addition, when the door opening signal time is detected, the refrigerator may immediately opens the door.
Abstract:
A filter cleaning device has an improved structure which is capable of effectively cleaning dust in a filter used in an air conditioner. The filter cleaning device includes: a filter; a brush unit movably installed at one side of the filter to separate dust from the filter; a brush movement unit configured so that the brush unit is movable along the filter; and brush guides installed at two sides of the brush unit to guide a movement of the brush unit. Each of the brush guides includes: a first guide groove formed so that the brush unit is moved to be in contact with the filter; and a second guide groove formed so that the brush unit is moved to be separated from the filter.
Abstract:
An air conditioner including a suction inlet configured to suction air, a filter movably arranged at one side of the suction inlet, a first dust elimination member provided within a movement section of the filter to eliminate dust thereof by coming in contact with the filter when the filter is moved and a second dust elimination member provided adjacent to one side of the first dust elimination member to eliminate dust collected at the first dust elimination member, wherein the first dust elimination member is reversely rotated with respect to a movement direction of the filter to come in contact with the second dust elimination member, thereby eliminating the dust collected at the first dust elimination member.
Abstract:
A dishwasher having a spray unit fixed at a washing tub and configured to spray wash water, and a conversion assembly provided as to convert the direction of the wash water being sprayed from the spray unit toward a tableware basket. The conversion assembly includes a vane rotatably provided while disposed as to face with respect to the spray unit such that the direction of the converted wash water is adjusted. Through the structure as such, the spraying range of the wash water is extended, and may be able to minimize noise from the striking of the wash water against an inside wall or door of the dishwasher.
Abstract:
An air conditioner includes a housing having a blowing port, a first guide configured to cover a portion of the blowing port, a second guide configured to cover another portion of the blowing port, a motor configured to rotate the first guide and the second guide, a first gear configured to be connected to the first guide, a guide holder configured to be connected to the second guide, and a second gear configured to connect the first gear to the motor.
Abstract:
A dish washing machine includes a plurality of spray nozzles to spray wash water, a sump to store wash water, a pump to pump wash water stored in the sump, and a distribution device to distribute wash water pumped by the pump into the plurality of spray nozzles. The distribution device includes a cylindrical housing having an inlet formed in one axial end portion thereof and a plurality of outlets that are arranged in a circumferential surface of the cylindrical housing in an axial direction and connected to the plurality of spray nozzles, an opening/closing member rotatably disposed within the cylindrical housing to open and close the plurality of outlets, and a motor to rotate the opening/closing member. Wash water may be independently sprayed from a plurality of nozzles, a wash tank may be dividedly washed, and loss of pressure of wash water may be reduced, thereby increasing washability.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a dishwasher including a spray unit fixed to one sidewall of a wash tub and a reflecting plate assembly to reflect wash water sprayed from the spray unit onto dishes and to linearly reciprocate in a spray direction of the wash water sprayed from the spray unit. The dishwasher further includes a drive unit to drive the reflecting plate assembly, and a cam unit to transmit driving force of the drive unit to the reflecting plate assembly. The drive unit includes a motor to generate rotational force, and a belt forming a closed loop and caused to make cyclic movement by the motor. The cam unit is engaged with the belt to transmit power of the belt to the reflecting plate assembly. The cam is alternately engaged with first and second portions of the belt to cause the reflecting plate assembly to reciprocate.
Abstract:
A dish washing machine including a drive unit to drive a vane. The drive unit includes a motor to generate driving force, a belt connected to a drive pulley and an idle pulley to transfer the driving force of the motor to the vane the motor, a rail to guide movement of the vane, a rear holder to rotatably support the drive pulley, the rear holder being coupled to one end of the rail by tension of the belt, and a front holder to rotatably support idle pulley, the front holder being coupled to the other end of the rail by the tension of the belt.
