    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a first alignment film disposed on the first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first alignment film and the second substrate. The first substrate has a surface curved in a first direction and the second substrate has a surface curved in the first direction. The first alignment film includes a polymerization initiator and a polymer chain that is a copolymer of a dianhydride-based compound and a diamine-based compound. The polymer chain includes a main chain including a repeating unit including an imide group, a first side chain, including a vertical align group, bonded to the main chain, and a second side chain bonded to the main chain. The functional group includes a biphenyl group or a terphenyl group.

    Abstract: A display device may include a common electrode, a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, an insulation layer, and a liquid crystal layer. The first pixel electrode overlaps the common electrode. The second pixel electrode is electrically connected to the first pixel electrode and is positioned between the first pixel electrode and the common electrode. A first portion of the second pixel electrode does not overlap the first pixel electrode in a direction perpendicular to the common electrode. A second portion of the second pixel electrode overlaps a first portion of the first pixel electrode. A second portion of the first pixel electrode does not overlap the second pixel electrode in the direction perpendicular to the common electrode. The insulating layer is positioned between the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode. The liquid crystal layer is positioned between the common electrode and the second pixel electrode.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a first alignment film disposed on the first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first alignment film and the second substrate. The first substrate has a surface curved in a first direction and the second substrate has a surface curved in the first direction.     Abstract: In a pixel of a display device, a back gate control voltage is applied to a back gate electrode of a first transistor that operates as a driving transistor in an anode initialization period, and the back gate electrode of the first transistor is connected to an anode of a light emitting element in a light emitting period. A first transfer line is disposed apart from the first transistor in a first direction. A capacitor pattern is disposed apart from the first transistor in a second direction opposite to the first direction. A second transmission line is disposed between the first transistor and the capacitor pattern.
