Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of first pixels, a substrate, a first semiconductor layer which is disposed on the substrate and includes an active layer of a first transistor, a first insulating layer which is disposed on the first semiconductor layer, a first conductive layer which is disposed on the first insulating layer and includes a gate electrode of the first transistor, a second insulating layer which is disposed on the first conductive layer, and a second conductive layer which is disposed on the second insulating layer and includes a first electrode and a second electrode of the first transistor, where a first opening exposing the first conductive layer in an area in which the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer of each of the plurality of first pixels do not overlap is defined in the second insulating layer.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel sliding in a first direction. A panel storage compartment is configured to accommodate the display panel therein and to assist a sliding operation of the display panel in the first direction. A plurality of segments are attached to a lower surface of the display panel, each of the plurality of segments are extended in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and are spaced apart from one another in the first direction. Bearings are disposed inside the plurality of segments and are at least partially exposed by the plurality of segments. The panel storage compartment includes guide rails engaged with the bearings.
