    Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate; a gate pattern disposed on the substrate; an oxide semiconductor layer disposed on the substrate, the oxide semiconductor layer includes a channel region that overlaps with the gate pattern; and an insulating film disposed on the gate pattern, the insulating film includes majority carrier supporting ions, wherein the gate pattern includes a plurality of gate holes, wherein the gate holes are formed inside a region of the gate pattern that does not overlap with the channel region of the oxide semiconductor layer, and wherein the channel region of the oxide semiconductor layer includes the majority carrier supporting ions.

    Abstract: A method of operating a display device may include the following steps: in a first frame period, before turning off a gate initialization transistor, changing an initialization voltage from a first level to a second level and subsequently returning the initialization voltage to the first level; in a second frame period, before turning off the gate initialization transistor, changing the initialization voltage from the first level to the second level and/or a third level and subsequently returning the initialization voltage to the first level. The display device may include the gate initialization transistor and a driving transistor. A first electrode the gate initialization transistor may receive the initialization voltage. A second electrode of the gate initialization transistor may be electrically connected to a gate electrode of the driving transistor. The first level, the second level, and the third level may be unequal to each other.

    Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a first transistor that controls an amount of current received from a first power supply voltage line connected via a second node to an organic light emitting diode in response to a voltage of a first node, a second transistor connected between a data line and the second node and that includes a first gate electrode connected to a first scan line, a light emitting line connected to a gate electrode of at least one light emitting transistor located in a current path between the first power supply voltage line and the organic light emitting diode, and a seventh transistor connected between one of at least one second gate electrode of the second transistor and the light emitting line. Accordingly, a threshold voltage of a switching transistor included in each of the plurality of pixels may be negatively shifted.

    Abstract: A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a flexible substrate including a first region, a second region separated from the first region, and a bending region positioned between the first and second regions. The bending region is configured to be bent so as to have a plurality of different curvatures depending on degrees of bending of the flexible substrate. The display device also includes a first display unit positioned in the first region, a second display unit separated from the first display unit and positioned in the second region and an encapsulation layer positioned over the flexible substrate with the first and second display units interposed therebetween. The encapsulation layer directly contacts the bending region of the flexible substrate.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting diode display includes a flexible substrate including a folding area and a flat area, a first insulating layer on the flexible substrate having a first opening, a first conductor on the first insulating layer, and a second insulating layer covering the first conductor with the first insulating layer also having the first opening. The organic light emitting diode display further includes a second conductor on the second insulating layer, a third insulating layer covering the second conductor and the second insulating layer, and a filling material in the first opening. A thickness of the filling material in the first opening is less than a thickness from a bottom surface of the first insulating layer to an upper surface of the second insulating layer.
