    Abstract: Provided is a display device including: a substrate; a plurality of display elements defining a display area on the substrate and each including a pixel electrode, an opposite electrode, and an intermediate layer between the pixel electrode and the opposite electrode; a power supply wiring disposed outside the display area; an organic insulating layer on the power supply wiring and having an opening exposing the power supply wiring; a power supply electrode layer partially disposed on the organic insulating layer and including a plurality of holes over the organic insulating layer, wherein a first portion of the power supply electrode layer overlaps the power supply wiring and a second portion of the power supply electrode layer overlaps the opposite electrode; a plurality of protrusions spaced apart from each other and respectively covering at least some of the plurality of holes; and an encapsulation layer covering the plurality of display elements.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a substrate, an inorganic insulating layer, a first conductive layer, and an organic material layer. The substrate includes a first area, a second area, and a bending area located between the first area and the second area the bending area configured to be bent about a first bending axis extending in a first direction. The inorganic insulating layer is arranged over the substrate. The first conductive layer extends from the first area to the second area passing over the bending area, and is arranged over the inorganic insulating layer. The organic material layer is arranged between the inorganic insulating layer and the first conductive layer and includes a central portion overlapping the bending area and a peripheral portion extending from the central portion. An average thickness of the central portion is greater than an average thickness of the peripheral portion.

    Abstract: A display device includes a pixel array disposed on a base substrate, a side terminal electrically connected to the pixel array, a connection pad including a first side surface contacting a side surface of the side terminal, and a driving device bonding to a second side surface of the connection pad, where the second side surface is opposite to the first side surface. The side terminal includes a resistance-reducing layer and an upper conductive layer, the resistance-reducing layer includes a first conductive material, the upper conductive layer is disposed on the resistance-reducing layer and includes a second conductive material having an oxidation resistance greater than the first conductive material. A portion of the upper conductive layer is disposed between the connection pad and the resistance-reducing layer such that the resistance-reducing layer is spaced apart from the connection pad.

    Abstract: A display device including a display panel, a side surface electrode, and a flexible film. The display panel includes a display area, a non-display area defined outside the display area, a pixel disposed in the display area, a signal line connected to the pixel, and a connection pad extending from the signal line and disposed in the non-display area. The side surface electrode is disposed on one side surface of the display panel and contacts one side surface of the connection pad. The flexible film includes a driving pad that contacts the side surface electrode. The connection pad includes a first electrode layer including a plurality of first electrodes and a second electrode layer disposed on the first electrode layer and including a plurality of second electrodes. The first electrode layer and the second electrode layer have different rigidities.
