    Abstract: A head mounted display device includes a lens assembly which changes a path of light; a main display module which outputs a main image and is positioned in front of the lens assembly; a main optical block which shields at least a portion of a light representing the main image such that the light representing the main image faces the lens assembly; a sub-display module disposed on a side of the main optical block and which outputs a sub-image; a sub-optical block positioned on the side of the main optical block and which shields at least a portion of a light representing the sub-image; and a light path converter positioned in the sub-optical block and which changes a path of the light representing the sub-image such that the light representing the sub-image faces the lens assembly.

    Abstract: A display device includes a substrate, a bank disposed on the substrate and having a multi-layered structure having an opening, a light emitting element disposed in the opening and including a pixel electrode, a light emitting layer, and a common electrode, a thin film encapsulating layer disposed on the light emitting element and the bank, a micro lens disposed on the thin film encapsulating layer and overlapping the light emitting element, and a light control layer disposed on the thin film encapsulating layer and surrounding the micro lens. A refractive index of the micro lens is greater than a refractive index of the light control layer.
    The pixel electrode is disposed in the opening and extends along an inner surface of the bank, and the light emitting layer extends along the inner surface of the bank on the pixel electrode.

    Abstract: A head mount display device, includes: a display panel; and an optical system positioned in front of the display panel. The display panel sequentially includes a light emitting element part, a third retarder, a reflective polarizer, and an absorptive polarizer, where the third retarder is positioned in front of the light emitting element part; and the optical system includes: a first curved lens, which is positioned to face the display panel, and includes a first retarder positioned on a first surface facing the display panel and a beam splitter positioned on a second surface thereof opposite to the first surface; and a second curved lens, which is positioned to face the beam splitter, and includes a second retarder positioned a first surface thereof facing the beam splitter and a second reflective polarizer positioned on a second surface thereof opposite to the first surface of the second curved lens.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display unit including a first surface through which light is emitted, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a plurality of transmissive regions which transmits infrared light incident on the first surface; a first lens and a second lens disposed on the first surface of the display unit, where a plurality of channels, through which the light emitted from the first surface of the display unit passes, is defined in the first lens and the second lens; a plurality of infrared light sources disposed on the first surface of the display unit, where the plurality of infrared light sources emits infrared light; and a plurality of infrared cameras disposed on the second surface of the display unit to overlap the transmissive regions.
