    Abstract: Described herein are means for implementing consensus on read via a consensus on write smart contract trigger for a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) platform in conjunction with a cloud based computing environment. According to a particular embodiment, there is a system having at least a processor and a memory therein, wherein the system is configurable with means for: operating a blockchain interface to a blockchain on behalf of a plurality of customers of the host organization, in which each of the plurality of customers operate as a participating node on the blockchain; receiving a read request for data stored on the blockchain from a user authenticated with the host organization; issuing a write transaction to the blockchain specifying both (i) the user and (ii) the read request; in which the write transaction automatically triggers execution of a smart contract to enforce access controls for the user; attaining consensus from the participating nodes of the blockchain for the write transaction at the blockchain pursuant to the access controls for the user being validated by the smart contract as allowing the user to read the data identified by the read request, in which the write transaction is added to the blockchain with an indication the user has permission to read the data identified by the read request; retrieving the data from the blockchain identified by the read request; throwing an event indicating the user has permission to read the data identified by the read request and returning as part of the thrown event, the data retrieved from the blockchain; and returning the data retrieved from the blockchain to the user in fulfillment of the read request.     Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing consumer data validation, matching, and merging across tenants with optional verification prompts utilizing blockchain technologies in conjunction with a cloud based computing environment are described herein. For example, according to one embodiment there is a system having at least a processor and a memory therein executing within a host organization and having therein, means for: operating multiple cloud platforms on behalf of a plurality of merchants, in which each of the multiple cloud platforms store customer records on behalf of the plurality of merchants; retrieving a first customer record associated with a first tenant of the host organization using one of the multiple cloud platforms; retrieving a second customer record for comparison with the first customer record, in which the second customer record is either a customer record from any of the multiple cloud platforms which is associated with a second tenant of the host organization or a customer record associated with the first tenant from a different one of the multiple cloud platforms; determining at least a partial match exists for the first customer record and the second customer record and generating a candidate record with a proposed data merge of the first and second customer records; creating a new global ID for a user represented by the generated candidate record; issuing a transaction to the blockchain with a new asset embodying the candidate record; and subjecting the new asset to consensus by one of: (i) the user represented by the candidate record, (ii) the first tenant, (iii) the second tenant, or any combination thereof.     Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing a metadata driven rules engine on blockchain using Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) in conjunction with a cloud based computing environment are described herein. For example, according to one embodiment there is a system having at least a processor and a memory therein executing within a host organization, in which such a system includes means for operating a blockchain interface to a blockchain on behalf of a plurality of tenants of the host organization, wherein each one of the plurality of tenants operate as one of a plurality of participating nodes on the blockchain having access to the blockchain; displaying a Graphical User Interface (GUI Interface) to a user device communicably interfaced with the system over a network, wherein the GUI interface is to prompt for a metadata rule definition at the user device when displayed by the user device; receiving input at the system from the GUI interface displayed to the client device, the input defining the metadata rule definition, wherein the metadata rule definition includes one or more conditions or criteria to be matched to a transaction received at the blockchain; auto-generating code for a smart contract representing the metadata rule definition based on the input received from the GUI interface displayed to the client device; submitting the smart contract having the code representing the metadata rule definition to the blockchain for consensus by participating nodes of the blockchain; and adding the smart contract having the code representing the metadata rule definition onto the blockchain by writing the metadata rule definition into an asset of a new block on the blockchain pursuant to the smart contract attaining consensus from the participating nodes of the blockchain.     Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for a hybrid data management system. An embodiment operates by receiving, from a user interface, a modification to a field of data. It is determined that the field of data corresponds to a decentralized data management system based on a look-up to a metadata repository. The modification is transmitted to the decentralized data management system. From the decentralized data management system, an asset identifier corresponding to the modification is received. The asset identifier is stored in a centralized database. Via the user interface, an indication that the field of data has been modified is provided.

For example, according to one embodiment there is a system having at least a processor and a memory therein executing within a host organization, in which such a system includes means for operating a blockchain interface to the blockchain on behalf of a plurality of tenants of the host organization, in which each one of the plurality of tenants operate as a participating node with access to the blockchain; receiving, from a user device communicably interfaced with the system, first input declaring the new application; receiving second input from the user device adding a plurality of network participants for the new application, in which the network participants are granted access rights to the new application; receiving third input from the user device declaring a plurality of entity types for the new application; receiving fourth input from the user device declaring one or more new field definitions for each of the plurality of entity types; generating a blockchain asset having encoded therein as the defined metadata for the new application, at least (i) the plurality of network participants declared, (ii) the plurality of entity types declared, and (iii) the one or more new field definitions declared for each of the plurality of entity types; and transacting the blockchain asset having the defined metadata encoded therein for the new application onto the blockchain.
